A peek at everything I loved in September 2023!

FOOD

ALDI pumpkin spice loaf cake. This might be the best pumpkin bread I’ve ever tried. It is incredible.

Favorite Day pumpkin cheesecake ice cream. Enough said! Can you tell I’m on a pumpkin kick?

My honeycrisp harvest salad. Every year in September I lose my mind over HOW GOOD this salad is that I first created so many years ago.

HOME

Hulken Rolling Totes. I could shout from the rooftops how much I adore these totes. I use them for just about everything – they are super easy and light to use too. The kids used them when we dropped off their school supplies and they love them too.

Handheld steam iron. This has changed my life. I hate ironing, I don’t have time and totally still give my mom the one off item to iron if needed (she loves ironing!). This handheld iron/steamer has been a life saver for Emilia’s uniform skirts!

Lightweight gold step stool.

BEAUTY

Urban Decay Space Cowboy Eyeshadow. This kills me because I wore this eyeshadow in COLLEGE and then last year it was a huge tiktok trend. But I love it for a one and done look. And it doesn’t transfer to the face at all.

Laneige Glowy Balm in Peppermint. My fave lip gloss was just released in a limited edition peppermint. I grabbed two and love it!

Dazzle Dry Nail Polish in Vigor. My favorite color green! I have got everything in this shade this year. And I love this!

FASHION

Amazon Open Cardigan. This cardigan is so nicely structured and sharp. I love it. Also love all the colors. I have the blue-ish/gray one.

Free People Jayde Flare Jeans. These also make me feel like I’m back in college. I got the short version and I really love them – they are SO high-waisted, which is awesome. And they are so comfortable!

Air Essentials Crewneck. My favorite crewneck of all time. This material cannot be beat. And it wears and hangs so nicely.

Free People fleece. This is the softest fleece that is incredibly warm but feels somewhat lightweight at the same time. I want it in every color!

MEDIA

Idina Menzel Drama Queen album. This album is SOOOO good – I absolutely love it. I listen to it daily! So energizing.

Things We Left Behind. I can’t believe I’m mentioning this book because I slammed the first two, but I actually loved this one the most!

KIDS

Mondo Llama Halloween crafts. I talk about these all the time but they are my kids’ favorite crafts. They buy us at least an hour or two. And they are fun to display once they are done! The ones this year are bigger than last year.

Investigator Books. Max’s favorite books of all time – and they just released a new one this week. He rereads the old ones almost every single week.

Duplo base plates. These are amazing for Jordan for building!! Max has some for smaller legos, but these duplo ones are just as awesome.

FOOD

Trader Joe’s peanut butter crispy rice bites. These are chocolate covered rice crispy squares and they are incredible. Oh my gosh. We love them. And they are individually wrapped too – the perfect treat.

Pop Daddy Pretzels. I discovered these last month and fell in love. I’ve tried the pickle ones, beer cheese, cinnamon sugar and smoked gouda. They are SO good. I love that they are thin pretzel sticks, instead of the thicker ones like Dots.

Good & Gather Whole Grain Dino Nuggets. There is nothing we love more than my crispy chicken cutlets. But in a pinch, the kids LOVE these. I love the Good & Gather brand!

HOME

Scout pleasure chest cooler. This is the perfect size to stash drinks and stuff for the kids. They are running cross country this fall and I keep gatorade, water and some fruit/snacks in this. I absolutely love it.

Bluetooth label printer. This may be the best thing I bought before school started this year. I bet I’ve used it 100 times already!

Recyclable honeycomb packing paper. This may be crazy that I’m talking about paper, but I adore this stuff. This is what I have used for packing things up in our house and it’s incredible! And so easy to use. I will forever use this over bubble wrap, peanuts, etc.

BEAUTY

Burberry Goddess perfume. This is such a delicious, warm scent. I bought the rollerball and it smells sort of early 2000s-ish, but in a good way.

Dior Lip Glow Oil in cherry. Loving this so much – it’s so SOFT and makes your lips feel like heaven. This is such a fresh pop of color too.

Rare Beauty Mesmerize highlighter. This is a repeat favorite but oh my gosh – it’s been on repeat ALL SUMMER LONG. It’s the one summer shade I can’t live without. I use it as eyeshadow and highlighter both.

FASHION

Square neck wide leg jumpsuit. I bought this during the nordstrom sale and I love it. I have to wear it with heels but it is so cute, can be worn so many ways – throw just about anything over it. It’s casual but can be dressed up too.

Define Relaxed Jacket. I ADORE THIS!!! I got it in the green color (obsessed with that color right now) and I love the way this fits. It’s so easy and breezy. Perfect for fall.

Farm Rio Havianas. I love this collab – the flip flops are so fun! I always have a pair of havianas on hand.

Loose fit cropped t-shirt. I love this so much, I have it in four colors. And I hate cropped shirts!! This is so good, so cute, the best material. Just a lululemon dupe.

MEDIA

Beach Reads and Bubbly Instagram. This was my new favorite discovery this month. I love her!!

You, With A View. I read a ton of books this month. This was my favorite, recommended by Katie above.

KIDS

Lovevery Play Sink. This sink that comes in the lovevery box is AMAZING. Jordan absolutely loves it (so do the older kids) and it entertains him for at least an hour – sometimes longer. Unfortunately it only comes in the helper box, but I get the boxes and we just all love them. They are the most played with toys in our house.

New Balance fresh foam shoes. With both kids are running cross country, we got each a pair of these new balance shoes. They love them – they are very supportive and comfortable. They want to wear them everywhere!

Preschool travel busy board. This is such a great car toy for Jordan. He loves it. So does Emilia, haha!

FOOD

Tate’s milk chocolate cookie bark. Oh my gosh. My SIL told me about this and it is divine. Can’t stop, won’t stop!

Trader Joe’s Carolina gold BBQ chips. I’m not a huge chip person but these… wow. I love TJ’s carolina gold sauce and these are incredible.

Trader Joe’s dark chocolate covered watermelon sticks. And these!! Like watermelon gummies, covered in chocolate. What a treat! They also have pineapple.

HOME

iHome 4 port charger. This is a life saver in our house. Between our phones, ear pods, portable chargers, kindles and more… we use this everyday!

Porter dressing containers. I love these little dressing containers. So great for meal prep or work lunches.

Simple Modern Trek Tumbler. Not to be a broken record but this is a million times better than the Stanley! I use two everyday – one for water and one for iced coffee.

BEAUTY

La Roche-Posay Anthelios Ultra Light Fluid Sunscreen. Love this sunscreen so much. I use it daily – and it’s great under makeup too.

Rare Beauty Eye Shadow stick in soft pink. This is the prettiest shade of pink. It’s nice and flattering without making my eyes look red.

Sol de Janeiro Milky Leave-In Conditioner. I mention this often but it’s just SO wonderful! Emilia and I both use it. It’s my favorite summer scent too.

FASHION

Free people daydream button down. Obsessed with this shirt. It’s a great cover up, shirt that you can tie up or even leave unbuttoned over a tank. I have it in white, black and bright blue!

Carmen Sol tonino mid wedge. This is a great pool shoe if you live for a wedge or platform like I do. The nude is the best shade ever.

Marc Jacobs mesh tote. This is my favorite tote this summer. SO bright, so great for the pool. It’s so fun and bright! Plus, it’s carrying everything I need for the kids right now.

New Balance 327 sneakers. I got my first pair of these last year and if there is a flattering sneaker out there, this is it. I LOVE the shape of these. And they are so comfortable too.

MEDIA

The Summer I Turned Pretty!! This is such a favorite comfort show for me. I love the new season so much!

Sunshine Nails. Loved this book this month.

KIDS

Toddler car travel tray. We set this up for Jordan for our road trip and it’s a game changer. We use these ones for the older kids, but this is incredible for toddlers. We don’t use the ipad case yet, but we put down road tape on the tray and he LOVES this.

1001 Things to Spot on Vacation. A summer vacay version of our favorite car books!

Unicorn glitter slides. No words for how much Emilia (and I!) love these. Can I get them in my size?!

Every year I share my favorites from the Nordstrom anniversary sale and after asking if you wanted to see them this year, I was super excited to share them again! I don’t worry about trendy or crazy new items in the sale – I love it for classic basics and there are things I’ve had forever that are at a great price. You’ve probably read about many of these below in my favorites post each month! That’s one of the reasons I like to post this… to share some of those things I’ve used and loved over the last year. I linked some of the things over on LTK if you’re a frequent user of the app too!

I have a love/hate relationship with this sale because it’s a lot of the same things every year. The only reason that’s good, is because I have had some of these things for years, gift many of them and can successfully review them! This year, I’m mostly sharing below the things that I have and adore, a few things I’m getting and others I’ve seen in person. There are many things in the sale that I’ve had for five plus years and they are my go-to items. There are only a handful of things below that I don’t have and want to purchase myself- I think 5 or 6 items this year. I go into detail about each item below.

P.S. this is in no way sponsored and I’m not affiliated with Nordstrom at all, but there are general affiliate links below! It’s just like my monthly favorites posts… I don’t accept any free fashion/beauty products nor do I ever do sponsored posts for fashion and beauty. This is just something I love to share every year because it’s fun for me, and I want to hear from you. Below I’m sharing my favorite clothing items, shoes, bags, things for babies and kids in general, some home products and all the beauty things I think are worth it. Once Eddie shops it (he always gets some denim + work clothes!) I may add in some of his favorites if you want. I’ll also come back and update this post as the weeks go on! And I’ll give a few details about some of my favorite things.

Wide huggie hoops. I love huggie hoops!

14K gold hoop earrings. I wear hoops this size almost every day. They are so pretty.

Chain bracelet. Getting this bracelet because it’s a staple piece.

Paper clip chain necklace. I live for a delicate gold chain.

Leopard print scarf. Leopard is a neutral to me.

Mesh strap watch. Love this mesh strap.

Bracelet watch. I am tempted to get both of these gold watches. They are so pretty.

BEAUTY

Augustinus Bader The Rich Cream duo. The rich cream changed my skin life. It’s pricey and I always stock up during a sale.

Augustinus Bader Refresh set. This is a new-to-me set that I’m going to try. I love to gift these bottles to friends too!

Dyson hair dryer. Eddie bought me this years ago for Christmas and we love it. It’s probably the craziest and most surprising gift he’s given me, but we ALL use this almost every day.

T3 flat iron. I love all T3 hair products.

T3 Luxe brush set. Some of my favorite brushes.

Simple Human sensor mirror. I bought this mirror in the sale years ago. Eddie and I both love it and use it daily.

Westman Atelier highlight duo. These are some of my favorite highlighters that exist! So perfect.

Unseen sunscreen set. Unseen is incredible under makeup. It might be my favorite face sunscreen.

Supergoop play sunscreen set. The jumbo sunscreen I love so much is here!! I buy this every spring and we keep it right by the door.

Coola sunscreen set. This is my favorite spray that I reserve just for me.

Kopari sun shield SPF set. I just bought these in the sephora sale and they are incredible.

Elemis cleansing balm. A great makeup remover than makes your skin feel amazing.

Sunday Riley Good Genes jumbo. I have used this forever and love it.

Laura Mercier caviar eye stick set. I use these daily! As eyeshadow and liner.

Good Girl perfume set. One of my favorite perfumes of all time.

HOME

KIDS

Doona Car Seat System. This is my #1 baby purchase. It was absolutely wonderful and we used it until Jordan turned two!

Doona Liki Trike. Jordan got this for his birthday and loves it. It’s a hybrid stroller/bike and a huge hit.

Uppababy Vista Stroller. This is the stroller I used as a double with Max and Emilia. It also works as a single – I gave it to my brother and SIL for their baby and it’s excellent. We all adore this one.

Bugaboo Donkey Stroller. This is the stroller I use now with Jordan – like the big stroller. It has TONS of storage for the other kids’ stuff and is wonderful to take just about anywhere. Excellent for long days out, like museum, amusement park, etc.

Stokke Tripp Trapp high chair. Best high chair ever!

Bugaboo Stardust playyard. This is our current travel crib. It fold up into a slim square and is super easy to set up.

Wonderfold Luxe 4 passenger wagon. This is the one thing that I am dying for that I wish we had. It doesn’t make sense for me to buy it because of our kids age gap (6 years) – Max wouldn’t sit in here or fit in it. But if I had two or three little tiny ones, I would get this in a heartbeat.

BOGS boots. My kids love these boots for cooler weather – think cooler spring and fall. They are waterproof and keep them dry!

Hunter boots. We do the hunter boots for summer. They are lighter and easier in the hot weather with rain.

Nike air max sneakers. Some of my favorite Nikes!

Nike baby jogger set. Jordan has lived in these the past two years. I would buy every single color!

FOOD

Trader Joe’s Snacky Clusters. Oh my gosh, these are SO good. They are so crisp, crunchy, salty and sweet. And perfectly bite-sized.

Fairlife shake + cold brew combo. I mentioned how much we loved the fairlife protein shakes a few months ago, but now I mix it with cold brew and I am loving the combo! It’s great in the morning or afternoon.

Blackberry Lemonade Waterloo. Eddie and I both love this flavor so so much. We basically fight over them. It’s delicious! Perfect blend of lemon and blackberry.

HOME

Stemless margarita glasses. I didn’t even know these existed until I found them. Margaritas are my favorite drink and these are too cute! I bought six of them.

Aura frame. A repeat mention, but worth a million mentions. For the millionth time, this is the best gift ever. We just gifted one over the weekend and it’s such a hit. Perfect way to share pics of the kids. And even the kids love seeing what photo pops up next.

Water bottle strap. Emilia needed a water bottle strap for a camp so I got this – wow it’s perfect. The length is adjustable and you can carry it a few ways. So great for the kids, I ended up getting two more!

BEAUTY

Rare Beauty Mesmerize Highlighter. This is my product for everything this summer! I’ve been using this as an eyeshadow and it is stunning. Then I also use it as a highlighter. It’s the prettiest light pinky shade. I also love this formula – it’s so smooth and silky.

MD SolarSciences tinted lip balm. Another repeat but I’ve been loving this balm with color + SPF for either outdoor baseball days or swimming. It feels so good on too. I have the shade “dream.”

Lake & Skye 11:11 perfume. I only got the travel spray of this but OMG I love it. It’s very warm and musky but doesn’t have any vanilla or sweetness to it. It’s so good and could even be considered a unisex perfume. These and the sol de janiero ones I mentioned last month have been on repeat.

FASHION

Sam Edelman Perla Slides. Bought these back in the spring and they are my favorite easy slide right now. I love that they are nude but have something sparkly and special – so many people ask about them. They are also on sale now!

Off the shoulder sweatshirt. In my efforts to look like Kelly Kapowski 99% of the time, I had to get this. I am sweatshirt obsessed. Graphic sweatshirts, amazon sweatshirts, vintage sweatshirts, beach sweatshirts. I want them all!

Hoka Bondi 8. Best supportive shoe EVER for working out, walking, being on your feet all day. I love these so much. I wouldn’t call them fashionable but… worth it.

MEDIA

Books, Beach and Beyond Podcast. This is Elin Hilderbrand’s new podcast and I am so excited about it. The first episode with Taylor Jenkins Reid is so good!

Same Time Next Summer. My favorite read of June so far! Really loved this one.

KIDS

Rainbow loom. Max is obsessed with the rainbow loom. Right now he’s wearing about seven bracelets up his arm – he only takes them off to shower. It’s super cute. And he loves making them for other people!

Ice pop holders! Oh my gosh, this is saving us so many paper towels. These are basically popsicle koozies and we love them so much.

Bentgo chill boxes. If we go to the park, pool, etc, I always fill the kids’ lunchboxes. Even if it’s just with snacks. And now I’m doing three! I love the bentogo chill in the summer. These were especially great a few nights when I took Emilia and Jordan’s dinner to Max’s baseball games. My school lunch favorite is the yum box, but these are excellent for hot weather.

Salad recipes are my favorite way to showcase vibrant, in-season produce—fruits and veggies that taste so good on their own that it doesn’t take much to make them into a delicious meal. On cold winter nights, I like to brighten up our table with a colorful mix of root veggies and hearty greens. On beautiful, warm days when I’d rather be outside than in the kitchen, summer salads are the perfect lunch or dinner: they’re simple to toss together, but they’re super flavorful nonetheless. Whether you want to add more plant-based meals to your diet or are simply looking to […]

A peek at everything I loved in May 2023!

FOOD

Harmless harvest coconut water smoothie. Love love love these!! I’ve been such a big harmless harvest fans for years – it’s the only coconut water I will drink. And these are so delicious, with a little extra oomph. We love them.

Brightland Pizza Oil. This is DIVINE. It’s spicy and herby and everything you want in a drizzle. We love it for bread dipping but it is so excellent on homemade pizza. Must try! I bought four bottles and have already gifted two.

Biscoff ice cream bars. Okay, let it be said that I am not a huge ice cream person. It’s not my drug of choice. HOWEVER… these are completely delicious and incredible and wonderful. Think of the magnum bars, but lots of crunchy layers of biscoff. It is so texture and so full of biscoff flavor. I get mine at Target.

HOME

Hair tie hub keychain. If you know… you know. Always need a very accessible place for my hair ties. This only holds a few but it’s great in a pinch.

iHome multi USB charger. This is the sleekest one I have found and lives in our kitchen – pretty much fully in use every day. I love it.

All Clad Grill Pan. My favorite!! I use this almost every single day. I’ve had mine for two years and I just bought another one because I need both for grilling at the same time. It’s the best grill pan I’ve ever had and so easy to clean.

BEAUTY

MD Solar Sciences SPF lip. I have the pink dream color. It is the prettiest shade! Like a your lips but better color.

Dermalogica Dynamic Skin Recovery SPF 50. This is my find of the summer. This does not feel or smell like sunscreen at all. It is very luxurious, plain and just smells like nothing – a nice cream, if anything. I use this as my (non-tinted) SPF under makeup. It’s fabulous. I will never be without this. Also I still love the new tinted kosas one I mentioned last week! I use that if I’m doing no/very light makeup.

Sol de Janiero perfume mists. I can’t get over how much I love these – ALL OF THEM!! I am so picky with scents and all three of these are incredible, so beachy, light and have lived in my bag the last few months. If I had to choose in order of love, I’d pick When In Rio first, then Bikini Season, then Do Not Disturb. All delish.

Back self tanner towel. I didn’t discover this until this year which is crazy since I’ve used self tanner for ages now. But this is the best way I have found to get it even on my own back! I used to make Eddie wear the glove and do my back.

FASHION

Zip up rash guard. I’m fully in my no-sun-for-me era and I am obsessed with this rash guard that zips up over any swimsuit. I cannot commit to the full suit rash guard because I think I’d just get so hot. But I can put this over anything (and I will!!) and have my chest and arms covered completely.

Smocked maxi dress. This is such a fun, easy comfortable dress. I clicked a link on IG, bought it and ended up wearing it to Max’s first communion and really liking it. It’s just so easy!

Jersey nap dress. I am such a huge nap dress fan. They came at the perfect time in my life (little kids, nursing, etc) and I still love mine. So I bought the new jersey version from their summer drop and it is SO GOOD. It’s like a stretchy modal-like (but thick enough) material that is incredible. I got the one shoulder version. I love a few of the others too, but many have the back cut out and I just don’t want to deal with the bra situation.

Cropped hoodie. Okay now, while I’m wishing we could stop making cropped things (forever), this hoodie is an exact dupe for the lululemon one and soft comfortable, soft and vibrant. I love it.

MEDIA

Meet Me At The Lake. My fave of the month! I loved Carley Fortune’s newest, it was so good.

Shonda Rhimes on Armchair Expert & Jane Fonda on Armchair Expert. Both of these episodes were incredible!

The Album by The Jonas Brothers. My new favorite everything. Summer music at it’s finest. Just blasting it 24/7 and the kids love it too.

KIDS

Solar buddies sunscreen applicator. I mentioned these in my summer + kids post and I can’t stress how good this is – Emilia does her own sunscreen (successfully, and I check) and she can even do it on Jordan with this. I even keep one for me! We love them.

Reusable water balloons. We had these last year and the kids were obsessed. They are so entertaining – set out a bucket, the kids can fill them up themselves and play. So fun and easy.

5000 awesome facts about everything. This is the book Max got for Christmas but he has read it every single day since. He LOVES this. It has got him into trivia and jeopardy and fun facts and it’s really cute. Such a big win!

Hair tie cutter. Poor Emilia has gone five years without this and I don’t know how we did it – these are amazing for cutting the tiny rubber bands out of ponytails and braids without cutting the hair. Or without ripping the bands out and ripping your hair out!

Good culture cottage cheese. A repeat favorite but it’s just SO GOOD. This is Jordan’s favorite food. It has made me fall in love with cottage cheese which I never thought would happen, ever. I love it savory, sweet, on toast, everything. It’s the best.

Polar watermelon seaside punch seltzer. New summer water is at target so of course I had to buy every flavor. This is the winner in my book! Now do I do an obnoxious stock up for the season?

HOME

Chill & serve containers. I have used these every spring and summer for three years. They are AMAZING. My friend was using them three summers ago and I knew I needed to get them – best thing ever. I use these for guac, dips, fruit, salads, things for potlucks, parties, outdoor entertaining, pool snacks, etc. The options are endless.

All Clad grill pan. This is my favorite grill pan and well worth it. I use this almost everyday, sometimes twice a day. I usually go through a grill pan per season and this one is such high quality.

Mrs Meyers Mint hand soap. My spring scent of soap, always!

Grape cutter. How have I lived so long without this? I’ve been cutting grapes for eight years. No, its not hard, but now that I have so many grape eaters, it takes awhile. This is so fast and life changing. You need one.

Essential summer break calendar. My new favorite thing! When I was trying to figure out our summer schedule with camps and activities, I printed out calendars and taped them together and tried to write on them. Then I discovered these via the lazy genius and my life was made. This is SO good. I have the summer break version and it’s perfect for seeing a big picture overlook.

BEAUTY

Birthday suit nail polish. This is the best neutral color ever. So flattering.

Olive and June jam please polish. My favorite color for spring and summer – it’s like vibrant orchid!

OUAI St Barts moisturizing cream. Got this at the sephora sale and I’m in LOVE. The smell is heavenly. And the texture is so incredibly soft.

Kosas Dream Beam SPF40 sunscreen. Also got this one at the sale and I’ve been using it as my daily sunscreen.

FASHION

Luluemon large classic belt bag. Okay yes, I’m a belt bag fanatic. Last month I told you about the nylon stoney clover one that I love. And how I need a BIG one to fit my kid stuff in. I’ve never liked the smaller popular lulu one for that reason – it doesn’t fit enough for me. Well, now they have this one and it’s everything. It’s perfect and fits SO much. It’s super light, easy to clean, fits so much. I got it in black but it appears to be sold out. It’s a great item!

Spanx perfect blazer. Okay this is the best blazer I have ever bought – EVER. I bought this last month when I needed something black for my grandfather’s funeral. I love the spanx air essentials line and thought I’d try this. It is incredible. The perfect weight, amazing material, lays so nicely – and I have blazers that are more expensive. This is by far the best!

Halogen side slit cardigan. I’ve mentioned this cardigan a million times over the years, but I’m reminded just how good it is every spring. It’s so lightweight, but warm enough in case it gets chilly. I love the length, all the colors and it goes with so much!

MEDIA

Happy Place. Oh man, such a great one!! My fave of the month for sure. More to come in my April book post.

KIDS

Busy cube. I put this in Jordan’s Easter basket and he loves it – and what I love is that we can take it everywhere! It’s great.

Snifty scented pens. These went in the older kids’ baskets and they are so fun. Cookies, pizza,

Pals socks. Emilia is crazy over socks. She LOVES them. She loves fun socks, thick fuzzy ones – everything. So theses have been a huge hit for her. Also an easter basket item!

Puppy place series. Max loves this series and it’s SO cute. There are a ton of books too!

It’s been forever since I did a dedicated beauty faves post!

And since the sephora VIB sale starts today, I figured it was a perfect time to stock up on warm weather skincare and makeup.

I do include my beauty picks in my favorites every month if you’re searching! But… mostly because once 2020 hit, I just wasn’t wearing makeup as much and in the last fives years or so, I’ve made a serious switch to skincare over makeup. So many of you have told me this as you’ve gotten older and I can totally relate. I still love makeup and beauty products, but skincare definitely comes first for me at the moment.

I’m sharing a few items that I have in my cart that are new to me. EVERYTHING else below is something I use and love (or have used and loved) – these are all my personal recommendations. I ramble about them too. They probably come as no surprise considering I’ve talked about almost everything before, but here we are! I’d love to hear what you love so I can build out my wishlist!

I like to get the big items like dyson hair tools at this sale. Also, good skincare, value size shampoo and sunscreen. I also love it to buy perfume during the sale, because you can rarely find that on sale (if ever!) – especially Tom Ford, Jo Malone, Killian, etc. None of this is sponsored, I just loooove talking beauty products with you.

2023 Sephora Spring Sale Favorites

I have a few new-to-me things in my cart that I’m excite about!

Iconic London Blush & Bronzer. I love everything by this brand.

Merit Sheer Tinted Lip Oil. The name alone sounds moisturizing.

Fenty Sunscreen Hand Cream. Going to keep this in my purse!

Rare Beauty Tinted Lip Oil. Rare beauty everything has been a hit here.

Summer Friday Cherry Lip Balm. This color looks so pretty.

Kosas Dreambeam Sunscreen. Very excited to try this!

OUAI St Barts Cream. Adore the smell of all things OUAI.

Vacay All Day Value Set. I love so many items in this set!

Now, on to my classic favorites that I recommend.

SKIN

Augustinus Bader The Rich Cream . I never stopped using my rich cream – at the height of the PD, I just used it as an eye cream! I LOVE how this works under makeup, both on my face and under the eyes. I will never be without this product. Yes, it is insanely expensive but if you do some research on it, it is a great product. If you’ve wanted to try, now is the time. It is rarely on sale more than this.

Luna Sleeping Oil. I have loved this retinol for years. I’ve used it off and on (when not pregnant and breastfeeding!) but am now back on it and LOVE. I use it three days a week.

Supergoop Value Size Sunscreen. I buy this every summer and it’s incredible. We keep it in the garage or right by the door so we always have sunscreen on hand. It lasts all summer and into fall.

Supergoop Glow screen . I still love this sunscreen. I use it both on non-makeup days and under light makeup. It evens out my complexion so much and the glow is incredible. If you don’t like a glow, do NOT get this. Only thing is that if I get it REMOTELY close to my eyes, it migrates into them.

Supergoop Unseen Sunscreen . I love this equally as much as the above, it’s just a different product. The formula of this is incredible. It’s almost like a primer and it’s great under makeup. This is a matte look – so nothing like the glowy one above.

Tan Luxe The Butter. I’ve repurchased this so many times – it blends incredibly and is such a nice self tanning cream to use. It is a gradual tanner and doesn’t transfer to clothes once dry. The smell isn’t terrible either.

Sol De Janiero Bum Bum Cream. My favorite forever, this scent is one that will immediately transport me back to pre-2020 days with so much happiness. I use this constantly and it is a wonderful moisturizing product.

Dr Dennis Gross Facial Steamer. I bought this last year and it has changed my life! Facials at home!! It’s wonderful. Would make a great gift (for yourself?! Ha).

Dr. Dennis Gross Daily Peel Pads. I haven’t stopped raving about these since I bought them and they really changed the texture of my skin.

First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream. I love this cream for all over the body – everyone in our family uses this. It’s also fragrance free. It’s mild and great for eczema.

Fresh Sugar Advanced Therapy Lip balm. Definitely my holy grail lip balm. It’s pricey and not one I keep in my purse (because they always go missing!), but it’s amazing for dry lips.

Laneige Lip Glowy Balm. I love every single scent and have one in every bag. Live for these.

MAKEUP

Beauty Blender. I am never without a beauty blender for foundation/bb cream/concealer/etc.

Iconic London Underglow Blurring Primer. I don’t like primers but LOVE this. It just evens out the skin and smooths it – I use it on its own or mix with a tinter moisturizer or foundation.

Iconic London Blurring Skin Tint. Also love this!! I’ve been mixing it with the above. Still light coverage, but very natural and nice.

Ilia Super Serum Skin Tint. I still don’t like heavy foundation on my skin, and this is my current fave if I want a little more coverage. I’ve used this for two years and love how much it evens out my skintone. I’d say it’s light to medium coverage.

bareMinerals Complexion Rescue. If you like really light coverage, this is still my absolute favorite. I’ve used it forever.

Too Faced Born This Way Concealer. My favorite concealer under my eyes. It is so perfect and not too drying.

Iconic London Liquid Highlight. Adore this highlight for mixing with foundation or moisturizer. It’s very liquidy and it’s pretty golden (almost too golden for me!) but it is wonderful for mixing. I use this almost everyday.

Westman Atelier Contour Stick. My favorite contour stick of all time. I use the shade biscuit. I’m on my second one and it is a great formula.

Rare Beauty Silky Touch Highlighter. This is such a gorgeous highlighter and creamy formula. It’a almost always sold out too. If you see it, grab it!

Westman Atelier Super Loaded Tinted Highlight. I have all 3 of these and love them. Rose is in the photos you see. The peau de peche is more warm. The soleil is bronzy. I love them all for different makeup looks and different times of year.

Westman Atelier Baby Cheeks. This is the only blush I’ve used for over a year! My favorite shades are poppet and minette.

Hourglass Unlocked Mascara. I hate buying expensive mascara but omg this is WORTH IT. It’s a tubing mascara and does not flake or smudge, plus gives excellent length.

Benefit Gimme Brow. The ONLY thing I use on my brows. It’s so natural. Nothing compares to the tiny brush.

Kaja Wink Stamp Liner. If you like to do a cat eye but always mess it is, THIS IS FOR YOU! You just stamp on the cat eye. It’s awesome.

Nars Pro Prime Smudgeproof Base. This is my favorite for eyeshadow base. Have used it forever.

Shesheido Microliner Eyeliner. I just bought this last month and am STUNNED at how great it is. So easy to use and almost like liquid liner, but not.

Makeup by Mario Moistureglow Lip. Obsessed with this. It is SO moisturizing and love the colors. Like a balm with a lot of color!

Sephora Pro Foundation Brush. This is the brush that I use for my westman atelier products. I love how it blends! It’s super soft and I find it to be a great brush for the price.

HAIR

Dyson Hair Dryer. Eddie got this for me for Christmas last year. It is life changing. I would only ever buy it if it is on sale, and if you have a lot of hair. It adds so mcu volume and body!

Dyson Air Wrap. Another thing I didn’t think I’d ever buy, but last year I did. It is AMAZING! This can definitely be a one stop shop for your hair. If I could only take one hair tool with me to a deserted island, it would be this. It’s so pricey and rarely ever on sale!

Bumble and Bumble Invisible Oil Shampoo. Favorite shampoo ever! Get the value size if you can.

Bumble and Bumble Invisible Oil Conditioner. Same as the above. The scent is so good too.

Moroccan Oil Root Boost. I love this for some volume when styling. I use on wet hair before drying.

Living Proof  Restore Perfecting Spray. My favorite leave in condition. Doesn’t weigh down my hair at all.

Oribe Dry Texturizing Spray. This is my favorite spray to use on dry hair. Adds texture and volume but isn’t sticky.

Sol de Janiero Leave In Conditioner. Again, the best scent.

T3 Whirl Trio. I bought this at a VIB sale a few years ago and still use it weekly. It is an amazing high-quality set that took me a long time to buy (so pricey!) but I use it SO much. And I love that it comes with three sizes of the wand.

FRAGRANCE

I am a warm fragrance person. I love all things vanilla, amber, mush, a very very light hint of floral – those are the scents I gravitate towards. These are a few of my all-time faves that I highly recommenced. Fragrance never goes on sale so this is the perfect time to try. I also always try travel sizes first when possible before buying a big bottle.

Glossier You. This has been one of my favorites for YEARS. It’s delicious.

Carolina Herrara Good Girl. As a note, I hate this bottle. It kept me from buying it for years. But this is basically the best scent ever.

Tom Ford Soleil Blanc. My go to summer scent. A light coconutty but warm fragrance.

Tom Ford Lost Cherry Warm and delicious with a hint of red cherry. It’s so good.

Kilian Paris Love Don’t Be Shy. This is kind of marshmallowy and sweet but also light with light floral. It’s delicious.

Jo Malone Mimosa and Cardamom. A longtime favorite of mine. Warm and floraly.

[as usual, none of this is sponsored and all of these products were purchased by me. i am not affiliated with any of the companies above, nor do i accept free products. just love to talk about what i like, makeup junkie to makeup junkie. there are some amazon and general reward style affiliate links above. thank you for being here!]

I start daydreaming about asparagus recipes as soon as I notice the first signs of spring. If I see daffodils shooting up in front of a neighbor’s house, I crave an asparagus frittata. If I glimpse green buds forming on a tree, I want a bowl of asparagus soup. And if the temperature rises above 60°F, I’m already at the grocery store getting the ingredients for pasta primavera. What can I say? After a long winter filled with root veggies and squash, asparagus recipes are an exciting change. They’re fresh, bright, and often quick to prepare—the beginning of the easy, […]
