Eddie does the most amazing Halloween decorations outside of our house, and then wants to kill me because first thing on Nov 1st I’m all “please remove them now!!” because it’s the holiday season and I would rather not have giant spiders and skulls outside while I blast my christmas music. You know?

2. How incredible is this pumpkin gingerbread farm stand?!

3. We are all loving the silicone pop-it sensory toys in this house. Have you tried them? I could sit on the couch for hours and pop that thing if I had the time.

4. 17 1-minute habits to change your life. I love these clickbait habit posts. Ha!

5. TV things!! I finished YOU and omg. I loved it, but definitely thought there would be more of a cliffhanger ending?

6. Also can we talk about how one of Max’s favorite things to watch is America’s Funniest Home Videos? Apparently we’re still living in the 90s over here.

7. One of my favorite things this season have been my halloween earrings. And now there are christmas ones! I am convinced that this stuff is being made because the kids of the 90s, who had moms that wore seasonal puffy paint sweatshirts, are now turning into moms themselves and want to wear seasonal accessories.

8. Why didn’t I know that “going to look at fall leaves” was called leaf peeping? Is this a new thing?

9. Needed this: create a place for everything that matters!

A Week In The Life, Vol 43.

I can’t even believe we’re at the end of October. Jordan’s face is pretty much the best thing I’ve ever seen here! We’re in for such a fun week! If you’re wondering if I spend all my free time searching for seasonal (and matching) outfits for the kids, you would be correct. Threw together this […]

I can’t even believe we’re at the end of October.

Jordan’s face is pretty much the best thing I’ve ever seen here!

We’re in for such a fun week!

If you’re wondering if I spend all my free time searching for seasonal (and matching) outfits for the kids, you would be correct.

Threw together this chicken stew situation with some butternut squash, mushrooms, onions, leftover potatoes and bacon.

Blue eyes bundled for a walk!

Fall in a picture.

Tried on our Halloween costumes! We needed a test run.

Max has wanted to be Harry Potter for Halloween for months. So, since Max is Emilia’s favorite person, she also demanded she be Harry Potter too. I cannot. She’s perfect.

Happiest boy!

This is pumpkin gnocchi in an actual pumpkin. Whoa whoa whoa.

We made a haunted house.

This was so fun.

Final product is pretty cute!

Early morning play with the babe!

Made some parm broccoli with our dinner today. Chicken too. Forgot to snap it!

My first baby! Why is he so big.

They are so obsessed with him. I feel so lucky.

Happy Halloween week!

food christmas ornaments

I am so excited to share this post with you! It’s a detailed look into my kitchen tree and how I find all my fun foodie ornaments that I share every year. This is such a fun tradition for us. I’ve wanted to do a food tree for YEARS and finally got it to come together six or so years ago. The kids LOVE this too. It is so fun to bring out all our food ornaments each year and remember what we have!

Yes, it’s a little early, but I find that the food ornaments sell out every year, many times before the holiday. Plus, if you want to decorate in November, you want to get them now!

The Tree

Obviously, you can do any size of tree you’d like! I’ve wanted to do this forever, because my grandma always had a pencil tree in her foyer and I loved how slim and classic it was – it was part of her decor but not a big overwhelming tree like you’d find in the living room.

For the last few years, I’ve been using a tree from Target (pictured below) that I put in the corner of my kitchen bump out. I can’t find the exact one (it is similar to this), but it’s been so beat up that I don’t even have a great picture. I LOVED this tree, I loved the shape and how cute it was. It just wasn’t the best quality and didn’t last. It got so wonky after a year or so and I just kept trying to make it work.

This year, I bought this Balsam Hill tree. It’s small and still minimal enough for the kitchen and no where near as big as our living room tree. It will show off the ornaments so well too.

You could also do a smaller tree sitting on a table or piece of furniture of course.

The Ornaments

The key to building your kitchen tree is to collect ornaments over time, just like any other tree or decor item! I believe the first place I ever saw food ornaments was at Sur La Table, over 15 years ago. My mom and I would die over them, we just thought they were so cute! When Eddie and I started dating, we’d often go in there during the holidays and talk about doing a kitchen tree at some point when we were married. He would buy me a food ornament around Christmas, and after I started blogging I would occasionally get them as gifts.

The only time I did a big purchase was about six years ago – I stayed up for the day after Christmas sale and the moment all the Sur La Table ornaments went 50% off, I bought some! Other than that, the ornaments have been collected and gifted over time. These days, you can find them many places. I might buy one or two new ones each year if I see something really special.

It’s amazing that the food ornaments are so accessible now, because it’s taken me years to find ones I really love.

Old World Christmas Food Ornaments

My favorite brand of food ornaments are the Old World Christmas ones. I usually look on their site because they divide them into categories like drinks, desserts, produce (I mean, amazing haha!) and I see what I like. Old World Christmas sells on amazon, and I find that to be the best price/quickest delivery of course. I have never had ornaments arrived broken or damaged from Old World Christmas.

I have an amazon storefront here of my past food ornaments that you can easily go through. There are so many fun and ridiculous ones now, like meatball subs and buffalo wings and burritos and deviled eggs.

(FYI if that link is giving you and adult content warning, I’m pretty sure it’s just because there are beer/wine/cocktail ornaments in there. It is just a list of Christmas ornaments, haha.)

Where Else I Buy Food Ornaments

As you look through this list below, I believe that many of the ornaments from other places are also made by Old World Christmas – or at least they look identical. Many times I find a handful at Michaels or other craft stores too.

Sur La Table

Sur La Table still has food ornaments. As I just looked, they are on sale right now for 20% off with the code FALL20! This rarely happens. And I’ve found that most of the ornaments sell out before the after Christmas sale anyway. A few that are so fun:

Bowl of Ramen

Moscow Mule

Peach

Anthropologie

Over the last few years, Anthropologie has had food ornaments too. Theirs are always very expensive, it’s rare that there is ever a coupon code and they always sell out before the holiday. I only buy ones here if they are super adorable or unique. Shockingly, some are on sale today so maybe they will continue to be on sale! A few favorites of mine:

Box of Doughnuts

Cotton Candy

Bakery Scale

Doughnut Display

Ice Cream Sandwich

Glitter Watermelon Slice

Vegetable Garden (I am dying over how cute these are!)

Nordstrom

Nordstrom has also had food ornaments the last two or three years. This year they have ones by Cody Foster and there are some fun ones. There were even more on the site when I looked a few weeks ago but they appear to already be sold out. A few of my favorites:

Glitter Kale

Matzo Ballin’ Soup

Glitter Radish

Vintage Mint Stand Mixer

Glitter Eggs

Pink Pineapple

Food52

Food52 is another option. They also have many Cody Foster food ornaments. A few cute ones that Nordstrom doesn’t have are the glitter bacon, the black and white cookie, the breakfast sandwich, a soft boiled egg, dumplings, sushi and beer. It won’t let me link these individually, but if you go here and click the drop down butter, you can choose which ones to see.

They also have a few multipack ornaments which is nice if you’re trying to build/buy a collection! Food52 also has some handmade felt food ornaments too!

food christmas ornaments

Of course, you are always going to be able to find some great foodie ones at your local boutiques or shops. Many end up carrying the Old World Christmas ones too, so I will always grab them.

I hope this helps you get some inspo for a foodie Christmas tree. This is one of our favorite things to do and I always put it up the second week of November so we can enjoy it. It even works with Thanksgiving since it’s food focused.

Let me know if you have any other foodie ornament questions!

Sharing my 2021 kids gift guide! All our favorite things for babies and kids, trusted toys and gifts that we love the most!2021 kids gift guide

I say it every year, but this might be my favorite year of the kid’s gift guide yet! Now that I have a 3 year old and a 6 year old plus another baby, I feel confident in what my kids LOVE and enjoy playing with the most. This list hasn’t changed a lot this year – in fact, many things stay on it as Emilia moves into playing with some of Max’s things. One thing I left off the list because it’s so extensive: LEGOS! Max is absolutely obsessed with Legos right now and builds constantly. Since it’s been four years since I had a baby, there are a few new things on the list as well. And as usual, you can find a few kids favorites in each of my monthly favorites posts.

You can see some of our other favorites here: preschool favestoddler faveschildren’s books, and more! I’d love to hear below what you would include on this list too!

2021 KIDS GIFT GUIDE

Micro Mini Scooters. Get the ones with the fancy light up wheels! They are so fun.

Little Sleepies PJs! If you read my week in the life posts, you know how much we love these PJs. They last for so long, are so soft. The best!

Type Set Co Boards & Letters. The kids are getting one of these for Christmas this year. The letters are SO pretty!

My Big Wilmmelbooks. We love books in this house, but these are the ones my kids can get stuck in for a good while. It’s almost like a where’s waldo, but with scenes. We have every version, we always travel with them on road trips and they are really fun!

Doona Liki Trike. The Doona car seat is by far the best purchase for baby this time around. I can’t wait until Jordan is a little bigger to get the trike! Planning on this for us to use next spring!

Magnatiles. This has been one of the best toys we’ve had – as long as we’ve had kids. Max still loves playing with these at 6 years old and Emilia loves them too. They build together and play separately.

Color Changing Raincoats. My kids got these as gifts last year and they are just amazing. So super fun! We have the umbrellas and boots too. They are such a great gift.

Lite Brite. My 90s heart is loving this. Max is getting one this year!

Campfire S’mores Play Set. We adore this. It’s so cute and fun. Who doesn’t love play s’mores?!

Fun Fan Fryer. Our play kitchen gets used everyday. This is a fun item because it makes noise – like it’s actually cooking.

My First Play Table. We got this when Max was one and still use it constantly to this day.

Widgeon Fleece Jacket. Perfect for little babes – this is a velcro closure instead of a zipper!

Baby Taco Crinkle Book. This is my favorite toy for Jordan! It’s crinkly and loud and he loves it.

1000 Things to Eat. Another book we LOVE is this 1000 Things to Eat. We have all the versions of this too. Max especially loves this one right now.

20oz Hydroflask Bottle. Love love love these! The kids love them too. They take them to school everyday. Love that they are 20oz.

Melissa and Doug One Stop Shop. Another item that we bought years ago for Christmas – both kids still love this. There is tons of imaginary play that goes on in our toy room, and this shop is a huge part of it.

Kid’s Sorel Boots. If you live in a cold/snowy climate, I can’t recommend the kid’s sorel boots enough. They are SO warm. I can get two seasons out of them with Max, and then I save them for Emilia as she grows into them. The quality is so good.

Bug Hotel. Let’s be real, this is my worst nightmare, but the kids will go absolutely crazy over it.

Big Coloring Posters. These are a huge hit. The kids love them!

The Floor Is Lava. This game was the HIT of the holidays last year.

Illustrated Harry Potter Books. Max got these two years ago, but he’s SO into them now. We’re on book #3 and he loves them.

Aquabeads. Max really got into aquabeads last year. Now Emilia can do them too and we love doing this as a family, or they do them on his own. They are really fun.

Jumbo Coloring Pads. These coloring pads are another huge win. We do a ton of art and these are fantastic. One of these sheets per kid gives us 30ish minutes of entertainment, at least. They use crayons, markers or paint with these.

Nerf Tennis Set. Getting this one this year too! So excited about this.

Mushie Stacking Rings. Perfect for baby & toddler – love these colors.

Pizza Sidewalk Chalk. I usually get ridiculous chalk for the kids each Christmas and they love it.

Construction Plate and Utensils. We love these plates! Max is a little too old for them now but Emilia has days where she loves them (especially the utensils) – and these are SO fun for young eaters that I had to include them again. We love these.

Car Road Tape. This is a repeat from last year because it’s a life saver. On a rough day, I pull this tape out and place it all over the house. The kids instantly have a road/race track/etc and LOVE it.

Jellycat Stuffed Animals. These are our absolute favorites!! So soft and squishy and cuddly.

Giant Dinosaur Dominos. My kids are currently obsessed with dinosaurs. They have been for years. They will continue to be. It is fun!

Air Dry Clay Dinosaur Puzzle. See above! These are so fun.

Flipbook Kits. Max makes his own flipbooks on post it notes, so I think he will love this!

Voices of Inspirational Women Soundbook. Got this for Emilia! I can’t wait.

Melissa and Doug Wooden Puzzle Set. We’ve got a ton of use out of these puzzles – my mom also has multiple versions at her house and the kids love them. Emilia is really into them, but Max still enjoys them now too!

I love sharing my beauty gift guide every year! While you can find the beauty items I’m loving in my monthly favorites posts, the offerings during the holiday season are perfect for trying out new products or getting jumbo ones of your favorite size!

This is one of my favorite times of year because the gift sets are amazing – and you can get things to share with friends or use as stocking stuffers! If you want more options, you can always check out my monthly beauty posts.

2021 Beauty Gift Guide

Hill House Silk Pillowcase. I recently switched my silk pillowcase to this Hill House version and I LOVE it. This one has a zipper and it’s so silky smooth.

Waffle Bath Wrap Towel. This is my new favorite thing! I love wearing this while getting ready. It’s perfect.

Dyson Hair Dryer. This is a ridiculous splurge, but I adore it. Eddie got it for me for Christmas last year. If you have a lot of hair, you will LOVE this. It has changed the game when it comes to drying my hair.

Dyson Air Wrap. On that same note, this styler is also a game changer. If I can only take one hair styler somewhere, this would be it. It replaces hot rollers and a curling iron for me. It gives your hair so much body.

Bader Discovery Duo. Bader is so pricey and this is an incredible kit for the price. I cannot live without Bader. It has saved my skin!

Clear Cosmetics Case. My favorite travel bag – and I also use it for most of my toiletries. It’s great.

Vanity Kit. This is another option that I have and love. It’s so easy to use and very very lightweight.

Water Resistant Toiletry Bag. My everyday makeup bag! You could also use this for so many other things.

Makeup Eraser Set. I absolutely LOVE makeup erasers. I use them after oil cleansing and think they are amazing.

Sigma Beauty Essential Brush Set. Some of my favorite brushes in an incredible set.

Tom Ford Fragrance Set. This is the first time I’ve seen this and I LOVE that you can get this now. I have three of these scents and adore them. It’s a great way to try Tom Ford scents which are so so pricey in their full size.

Westman Atelier Tinted Cream Highlighter. If you know a makeup lover, this would be the most incredible gift. It’s so luxe and a really great product.

Summer Friday’s Jet Lag Mask. One of my favorite masks for dry skin. You can use this as a sleeping mask too.

KNC beauty eye mask. This is one of my favorite under eye masks. And it’s so cute too!

Facial Steamer. I bought this during quarantine and now I do regular mini facials. I love it. SO easy to use.

Tata Harper Mask Set. I love using this after the steamer above. The resurfacing mask is incredible!

Oval Artis Brush. This is the only brush I use for foundation right now. The dupes aren’t as good. This exact one works SO well.

Body Plane. I love these after showering with body oil.

Microfiber Hair Scrunchie. These have been life changing for my hair. They help dry it!

Coconut Milk Bath Soak. This bath soak is lovely and softening without bubbles. Smells so good.

Coconut Spray Body Oil. This is my favorite body oil spray. I love that it sprays. It smells like fresh coconut, not sweet artificial coconut. Almost like coconut milk!

54 Thrones Beauty Butter Set. My favorite hand and body cream, period! This is so rich. The scents are wonderful.

Laura Mercier Honey Bath. I adore this bubble bath. It smells incredible.

Brazillian Bum Bum Cream. This will transport you to a tropical paradise. The scent is intoxicating.

Rapid Dry Hair Wrap. I use one of these every time I wash my hair. They prevent breakage and help dry your hair quickly.

Lighted Makeup Mirror. I have a smart human makeup mirror, but found myself using this one more this year. I love the lights.

Portable Makeup Mirror. Same thing, but look at the size! This is perfect for any travel or even the car.

Masking Minis Gift Set. I love to break this set apart for gifts.

Body Scrubber. Perfect for anyone. SO easy to use.

Boucle Bath Mitt. Same as the above. This is the best exfoliator.

Facial Ice Globes. These are the new skin rollers!

Scalp Massager. I use one of these in the shower and love it. It’s so good for your scalp.

Fresh Rice Sake Bath. My longtime favorite bath soak – it will relax you like nothing else.

Double Sided Mask Spatula. Perfect stocking stuffer for the beauty lover!

Slip Hair Tie Bauble. These are the best hair ties to use for sleep. They don’t crease or damage your hair.

DePuffing Energy Mask Box. I would be so excited to get this. If you know a skincare lover, this would be amazing.

1. My actual nightmare right now would be going into a haunted house. Why do we get more scared as we get older!

2. 5 organization hacks to keep your life together.

3. Go to Halloween candy of choice? Since being a chocolate snob has also come with age, I’m not too tempted, but I wouldn’t kick a Snickers out of bed. Or a good Reese’s pumpkin.

4. TV things!! Are you watching YOU?! Oh my gosh, it’s so good. I’m also very into the The Morning Show, though the storyline is up in the air for me because I don’t want to relive 2020. Or 2021… ha! Grey’s was okay, has a little promise. Also, have you watched The Saints of Newark yet? As major Sopranos fans, Eddie and I were a little disappointed in it. It just wasn’t what we hoped.

5. Have you seen the Justin Bieber song/Diane Keaton video? Um, I die. Pretty sure I’ve been doing Tuesday Things for so long that I once asked who Justin Bieber was over a decade ago.

6. On that same note, if you’re a Nancy Meyers lover like I am, please tell me you’ve seen this Jimmy Fallon skit! It’s hilarious, and features Chris Stapleton who I also adore.

7. I’ve shared this before, but it couldn’t be more timely: how to prioritize when everything is important.

8. Later this week I’m sharing a post on my kitchen christmas tree ornaments! You guys always ask about this so stay tuned.

All of my favorite gifts under $25 are here for 2021! The perfect stocking stuffers, hostess gifts, work gifts, teacher gifts, everything you can imagine!2021 gift guide under $25

Gift guide week is HERE! We’re kicking this off with the best stocking stuffer gifts – these gifts are all under $25!

I know it seems ridiculously early. This is about three week’s earlier than I usually share my gift guides, but after polling you in last week’s Tuesday Things, you said you wanted them now! I love making gift guides and this is crazy – it’s my 11th year making them.

This is always my favorite gift guide to make. It’s easily the price range where I find myself buying the most gifts – whether it’s for a grab bag family gift (we pick names in a few instances in our family and it’s GREAT – highly suggest doing this if you haven’t yet.), a stocking stuffer, a teacher gift, a work gift, etc.

Most of the things you’ll find in my gifts guides won’t be a huge surprise – I’ve talked about lots of them throughout the year in my monthly favorites posts. However, I’ve scoured the internet and all my favorite stores to curate a guide of things I really, truly love, and would enjoy gifting or getting. This is my favorite list!

As usual, I’m sharing gift guides in addition to my regular content, so if these aren’t of interest to you, there will still be new recipes and/or Crumbs content every day!

2021 STOCKING STUFFER GIFT GUIDE – MY FAVORITE GIFTS UNDER $25

Everyday Dinners! My newest book is current under $20 – the best price I’ve seen so far! I have no idea when that price will change, so stock up for some holiday gifts!

The Pretty Dish. My second cookbook is also listed under $25 right now – a fantastic price for gifting!

OXO Chopper. This chopper is incredible. Great for anyone who hates chopping onions, celery, carrots, etc. It works like a charm.

Stovetop Simmer Kit. You could totally make your own DIY version of this, but I love these adorable packaged ones.

Fabric Shaver. The BEST. This removes those pesky little balls from furniture or clothing. I love it.

Truff Hot Sauce. I have gifted this for years. It’s SO good.

Epicurean Pizza Cutter. I have this and it’s incredible. We love it for pizza.

Foodie Ornaments. I plan on sharing an entire kitchen tree post, but how fun are some of these!

Brightland Champagne Vinegar. For those with good taste!

A mini gold whisk. Who could pass this up? LOVE it for a stocking.

Mini waffle maker. We have one and the kids love it so much. Also great if you just want a waffle for yourself.

Lightning to USB Cable Charger. My favorite one. Always needed!

Mike’s Hot Honey Single Squeeze Packs. I mean, could there be a better gift?!

Cocktail Infused Ice Cubes! The perfect idea.

Rainbow Stainless Straws. Super fun stainless straws. I’m always up for rainbow neon.

Wine Stoppers. I’ve been using these for the last couple months. They seal up the bottle of wine so well.

The prettiest bottle opener. Could go with the gift above too!

Luxardo Cherries. This is something I adore gifting! The bougiest cherries that are perfect for cocktails and kitchen lovers. You’ll want the entire jar.

USB Candle Lighter. I have gifted this for three years in a row now. It makes the best gift for almost anyone!

Pastel highlighters. I love nothing more than good old fashioned pen and paper. And when something needs to be highlighted, these are what I use. They are so pretty.

Happy Head Massager. Someone please put this in my stocking!

Thymes Fraiser Fir Travel Candle. It’s the ultimate winter scent.

Monogram journals. The bright colors are amazing. For the pen & paper lover!

Lily and Val recipe print. I LOVE love love these so much – she has many different recipe versions and they are so beautiful!

Wine Stain Remover. OBSESSED. Practically want to buy this on subscription. Great for the wine lover or even just a fun stocking stuffer.

Millennials vs Boomers Game. This is pretty funny.

The Hill We Climb. So inspirational and I just love Amanda Gorman.

Foodie Dice. This would be so fun to do with friends on vacation, or for a spontaneous get together.

Williams Sonoma Hot Chocolate. This is a classic – and also a great hostess gift. It’s so rich and the creamiest hot chocolate.

Patchology Eye Gels. I love these – they are so refreshing. Eddie even loves them. Great stocking stuffer for anyone.

Glass straws. My favorite reusable straws are the glass hummingbird straws. I love that you can see inside and can tell if they are clean or not.

Citrus juicer. This is one of those things that everyone needs but rarely buys themselves. Get a good one!

Milk & oatmeal Bar Soap. This scent is one I adore – warm, almond like, soothing milk and oatmeal. It’s so good.

Kate McLeod Stone. This body lotion stone is amazing. I’ve gifted them before and bought for myself many times.

Honey Spoons. For the tea lover!

Mindfulness dice. This is such a cute idea.

Bath shell pillow. The cutest pillow for any spa/bath lover. I need this.

Porter salad bowl. These are such high quality and make incredible gifts. This bowl is perfect for the work week. Whether you work in or outside of the home, prepping lunch ahead is a key to success. I make salads for lunch (minus the dressing) and store them in here and they stay great for 2-3 days.

Toaster Tongs. A practical little gift that pretty much everyone needs.

S’mores Wars Card Game. How fun is this!! Any card game including s’mores is a win. Giving it to Max this year.

Beeswax food wraps. If you’re trying to use less plastic, these are amazing. You can use them to wrap product, bread or even cheese and stick them in the fridge. They are reusable and wonderful.

Popcorn on the cob. This is one of my most frequently purchased stocking stuffers. Simply gift one of the corn on the cobs and you have a big bowl of popcorn.

Avocado food huggers. Two come in this set, meaning you can do two gifts in one!

Barefoot Dreams socks. My grandma gifted us a pair of socks every year and the idea still has a special place in my heart. I love gifting socks, as weird as it may sound.

We had such an amazing week!

And I will forever stare at this photo. FOREVER!

The kids made my pumpkin dream cake. I literally let them make it themselves once I had all the ingredients out.

It was fab except for a rogue egg shell here and there. Ha.

This baby boy turned four months old! HOW?!

He is quite the milk monster. He is my biggest baby! Growing like a week.

Fresh sourdough, toasted + butter + salt. The best.

Mid week we started wedding events for Eddie’s cousin!!

I mean how pretty is this?

And this? Ha.

Emilia enjoyed her cake at the rehersal.

And here are my little love muffins! I can’t handle how much I love them.

This cake was amazing.

The entire wedding was amazing. It was such an emotional happy day!

This boy was a champ.

And how is Max now suddenly 17?!

Framing this for sure. I feel so lucky to get to have boys and a girl.

It’s so dark in the mornings now! Morning weekend snuggles.

Vodka paste + house salad + unpictured lemon chicken.

And we head into another week! Thank you for letting me share our adventures with you!

fall 2021 reading listOh my GOSH you guys – there are SO many amazing books out this fall! Most notably, tons of holiday themed books which seems to be a trend now. After reading a bunch last year – and Elin Hilderbrand’s winter street series being my fave of all time! – I’m super excited about all of these.

I often struggle the most in fall when it comes to finding time to read. Which is crazy since it’s perfect reading weather! I live to curl up on the couch and read an entire book, though that exact scene hasn’t exactly happened since I had kids. Ha! But still. These lists mean that I have options right in front of me to choose from. I’ve been sharing what I read every month and of course, you can find all of my reading lists right here.

Have you joined the book club yet? The facebook group is awesome and filled with lots of reading inspiration. Plus, it’s where we discuss our monthly book pick!

1. This is definitely my preferred color palette for fall. Who wants orange pumpkins when you can have PINK?!

2.  Oh hello apple cider slushies! I live for this.

3. Guys when do you want my gift guides? I try not to be influencer-y with my gift guides. I’ve done them for over a decade, long before affiliate links were a thing, and I love sharing them. They are often made up of things in my favorites posts and things I truly have and love, or plan to buy. For years I’ve posted them the second week of November, but with this supply chain stuff – do you want them earlier?

4. This past weekend I ended up getting most of my holiday gifts and it felt soooo good. My goal is always to be done with shopping and decorating and everything by December 10th or so, that way I can fully enjoy the fun season with the kids!

5. Love this! Your biggest dreams don’t include a house full of stuff.

6. TV things!! Highlight of my week is watching Impeachment. Bernie Feldstein is SO good. Have you watched it yet? The whole cast is really incredible. I also watched The Way Down documentary which is truly insane.

7. On another note, we have been watching the new My Little Pony on Netflix. Not only is it awesome but the soundtrack? INCREDIBLE. It gives me Hairspray vibes. I totally have listened to it alone without the kids.

8. A bunch of healthy things to do before 7am. Not sure I’ll ever be able to not look at my phone.
