Pumpkin pillows. My real fave here is the jack-o-lantern version which is sold out, but I adore these pillows! It’s like decor but pillows in one. The kids love them too. They weirdly add so much to the family room.
Wine bottle stoppers. Best find ever if you don’t drink a full bottle of wine in one sitting. They cork down into the bottle and keep it fresher than any other method I’ve found.
OXO gold muffin tins. It had been ages since I bought new muffin tins. I make muffins almost every week for the kids so I grabbed these oxo ones because I love their sheet pans. These are fabulous! Super nonstick and just great. I love them.
Brumate Toddy. This is the perfect size for morning coffee on the go. It keeps it SO cold, the lid screws on tightly but I can stick a straw in the sip part. I take this for school drop off and it’s a necessity.
Ink and Volt meal planning pad. This has been saving me! Here’s what I do – I keep this in the car and on Thursdays in the school pick up line, I write out our meal plan for next week, down to what I want for lunches and breakfasts. I may jot down a few grocery needs too. Then it’s done! It’s such a great system doing it on Thursdays. It’s ready to go, I get our groceries on Sundays an it’s simple.
Hourglass Unlocked Mascara. This mascara is incredible. It’s a tubing mascara so it doesn’t flake off. And it gives me some impressive length. I hate spending on mascaras since they don’t last, but this is so good.
Killian Love Don’t Be Shy perfume. I don’t wear a lot of perfume when I have a newborn, because of nursing and just cuddling them 24/7. If I do wear it, I spray it on the back of my neck only. But i got a travel spray of this. I think it’s a cult favorite. It’s definitely a sweet, warm but also floraly scent. I love it.
Grandpa’s Pine Tar Soap. This certainly isn’t beauty, but it is amazing if you have dry/eczema prone skin. I first wrote about this in my pregnancy update. I still use it every time I shower. It smells like beef jerky which is insane, but it gets better and is worth it for your skin. This is a tough one because I love beauty products and body wash is like self care for me, so I’ll still use my favorites once a week or so. But the improvement in my skin has been incredible.
Scarecrow crunch trail mix. I tried this last year (it sold out instantly!) and got a bag this year too. Um, it’s so good. I mean, it’s dangerous and not trail mix, it’s definitely more like candy. But it’s delicious!
Elemental bars. Now that I’m back in the car for school pick ups and drop offs, I like to have a snack on hand. I love the almond butter and peanut butter bars. Definitely a favorite.
Stok creamed pumpkin cold brew. This is a nice alternative to my favorite pumpkin cream cold brew from starbucks. I really like the flavor. It’s not overly sweet, which is weird since there is quite a bit of sugar in it. But it makes for a good treat!
Bauble Bar Halloween earrings. Okay these def make me feel like my mom in the 90s and probably shouldn’t be considered “fashion.” Ha! My mom would always wear fun holiday apparel and puffy paint Christmas sweatshirts and stuff. I am now that mom. I love the Bauble Bar holiday earrings, they are SO fun and the kids love them. No, I wouldn’t wear them out to dinner or something but I love wearing them on our fall weekend adventures and if we’re doing something fall themed! I have the pumpkins/candy corn, witches and ghosts.
On Cloudnova sneakers. Absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE these shoes for running around. They are so comfortable but look a little more substantial than other sneakers if that makes sense. I get a ton of compliments on them. Also loooove the white ones!
Halogen side slit cardigans. I’ve had these for years, but the early fall is the best time to bust them out. They are so light weight and perfect for layering. They work on those days when it’s cold in the morning but hot in the afternoons (aka, right now). My preference is black, but the bright colors are fun too. I’ve had my black one for seven years and it’s still in amazing condition.
Kacey Musgraves Starcrossed album. I cannot handle how much I love this. OMG. It is so good. It’s definitely a sadder album compared to her last, but the songs are great. My favorites are breadwinner, justified and simple times.
Fisher Price Sit Me Up floor seat. I had this for Emilia and now Jordan is just moving in it. We LOVE this seat. It makes such a difference when they can sit in it. It’s more like a sling, but they can hold their head up in it. He loves sitting in this in the kitchen while I cook dinner. It’s not the prettiest baby seat but I promise it is the best!
Bubble machine. I realize we are basically getting out of bubble season but this one is THE BEST. My sister in law had it and if you’ve ever owned a bubble machine, you know they die pretty quickly. This one is such great quality and LASTS. It blows a great amount of bubbles too!
Usborne Halloween Activity books. We love having holiday themed activity books! I find the Usborne ones at our local farm store. I also have the doll dress one for Emilia and she loves it.

Ink & Volt Notepads. I wrote about these in my summer fridays post but they are awesome. If you are a list maker like me, you will love them!
Stanley Quencher 40oz Tumbler. This is huge, because my yeti has been glued to my side for, like, 5 years. I finally got my hands on the stanley cup and it’s better than I imagined. It’s huge – 40 oz – and has a handle, is dishwasher safe and also cute. Feels so much more “complete” than my yeti because the handle is attached and it comes with the straw (I always buy the separate ones for yeti). It’s perfect! Has saved me this summer with breastfeeding. These are always sold out, but if you sign up for notifications, you will know when they come back in stock.
Type Set Co Magnetic Letter Boards. My mom and I found these at a local store that we love. They are SO fun! So much easier to use than the felt letter boards, and the letters here are so fun, like tie dye confetti! The kids really love them too.
Scout Errand Boy Tote. This bag is FANTASTIC. First, all scout bags are amazing – they are waterproof and fold down completely, so very packable. This bag was wonderful for traveling. It’s also so great to keep in the car. I love that it has a zipper top too – necessary!
Siete Almond Flour Tortillas. The texture of these tortillas is incredible. I use them to make Eddie and I grilled wraps or sandwiches. I may even like these more than regular flour tortillas.
Kind Frozen Bars. How have I not known about these?! I love the chocolate peanut butter one – it seriously tastes like a frozen snickers bar. Which is crazy! Such a good treat.
Frozen Levain Bakery Cookies. Almost (almost!) as good as the real thing. We found ours at whole foods in the freezer section and can’t get enough. The double chocolate are my favorite.
MZ Wallace Mini Metro Tote. I have this bag in the neon pink from a few years ago and can’t express how much I love it. I know I’ve talked about how great MZ wallace bags are and this size is PERFECT. It’s the only thing I ever take outside of my diaper bag. And sometimes I even just take this – because I can fit a few diapers and wipes in here! Best crossbody ever.
Hill House Nap Dress. I have LIVED in the nap dress this summer. I know I sound like a broken record but it has been life changing. It’s amazing for pregnancy, postpartum and breastfeeding. It has allowed me to feel “put together” all summer in a season of life where things are crazy and I barely have energy to do my hair and makeup! It’s the most comfortable dress EVER. Also runs big, so size down.
The Lazy Genius Podcast. I am loving these episodes! So many good ones with tips and tricks for organization and cleaning and kid stuff. I love how quick they are too.
The Newcomer. I loved this book! I always love what Mary Kay Andrews writes. It’s a good light read but still has substance!
Kacey Musgrave’s new music! I am LOVING her new songs. I do like Star Crossed, but I especially like Justified!
Jo Malone Blue Agava & Cacao. I’ve had this perfume forever – it’s a retired scent that they bring back every now and then (it’s actually back right now!). I often wear it in August because it reminds me of our vacations, and I always take it there too. It’s so good! Definitely could be a unisex scent, but is a bit floraly, warm and edgy. I love it. If you like the other scents I enjoy, like Tom Ford Soleil de Blanc, Pour Femme, Jo Malone Ginger Biscuit, etc – you’ll like it!
Sol De Janiero Dry Shampoo. My favorite body cream was made into a dry shampoo and my life is made! Now my hair can smell like heaven. I’ve avoided the bum bum cream all summer since I’m nursing and it’s so highly fragranced and also shimmery. The scent is the best.
Augustinus Bader The Rich Cream. Yes, I’m still using it and living for it. It’s the only thing I used for the last few months of my pregancy because I ended up with some pregnancy induced perioral dermatitis. I LIVE for this cream. My skin is dry so this version feels amazing. Not too thick at all. It goes on sale a few times a year too!
Caraa Diaper Bag Backpack. This is huge, because I’ve used my Fawn design bag forever (and have never got more compliments on a bag than that one, and it’s a diaper bag!!!) but I switched to this a few months ago. It is SO lightweight – much lighter than Fawn. It’s bigger and has so many great compartments, including an insulated one for milk if you pump!
Hydroflask Bottles. Absolutely obsessed with the new bottles for kids and I LOVE that they have 20oz ones now, especially for Max in school! You can also label the bottom of these. They are so cute and one of the best water bottles for the kids.
Dry Erase Pocket Sleeves. I can’t believe I’ve never had these before! I made the kids routine checklists and stuck them in here with a dry erase marker. They LOVE them. You can use them for anything dry erase too.
Little Sleepies PJs. I’ve rambled about these for a year now, but we LOVE these PJs – for everyone! The kids, Jordan, even us as adults. They are so silky and soft but thin and breathable. Truly amazing.

It’s peach season! For the next few weeks, I’ll come home with a bag of peaches after every trip to the farmers market or store. The season is just so short, so while it’s here, and fresh peaches are juicy, sweet, and abundant, I make it my goal to eat as many of them as I can. Some I devour plain, their sticky juice dripping down my chin. But I use even more in my favorite peach recipes. As you might expect, these peach recipes include desserts like crisps and cobblers. But they go way beyond that, too. Have you […]

Every summer, something happens that I look forward to all year: I spot a pile of the first sweet corn of the season at the farmers market. Immediately, my mind starts racing, imagining all the fresh corn recipes I’ll make when I get home. Should I start with a corn salad? Tacos? Chowder? Plain ol’ corn on the cob? I’ll only make one of these corn recipes on that first night, but in the coming weeks, I’ll cycle through all of them. In late summer, corn is so fresh, sweet, and juicy that I cook it (and eat it) as […]

Hi hi! Every year I share my favorites from the Nordstrom anniversary sale and after asking if you wanted to see them this year, I was super excited to share them again! I don’t worry about trendy or crazy new items in the sale – I love it for classic basics and there are things I’ve had forever that are at a great price. You’ve probably read about many of these below in my favorites post each month! This year, I’m really only sharing below the things that I have and ADORE. There are many things in the sale that I’ve had for five plus years and they are my go-to items. There are only a handful of things below that I don’t have and want to purchase myself! I go into detail about each item below.
P.S. this is in no way sponsored and I’m not affiliated with Nordstrom at all, but there are general affiliate links below! It’s just like my monthly favorites posts… I don’t accept any free fashion/beauty products nor do I ever do sponsored posts for fashion and beauty. This is just something I love to share every year because it’s fun for me, and I want to hear from you. Below I’m sharing my favorite clothing items, shoes, bags, things for Max and Emilia and kids in general, some home products and all the beauty things I think are worth it. Once Eddie shops it (he always gets some denim + work clothes!) I may add in some of his favorites if you want. I’ll also come back and update this post as the weeks go on! And I’ll give a few details about some of my favorite things.
Blanc Noir Hooded Moto Blazer. Bought one of these YEARS ago in the sale – like maybe five years ago? I adore it. Super flattering and fun to wear especially if you live in leggings or jeans. I have always found that it does run small, so size up!
AllSaints Funnel Neck Sweater. I bought this sweater in the sale three years ago and am so glad it’s back. It’s super flattering, very warm and just overall really cute. I actually wore it in a lot of the photos that you can find in Everyday Dinners!
Lagence Boucle Blazer. I LOVE everything L’agence. I have one of their blazers and it’s incredible. I really like this one in the sale and want to grab it! It’s such a classic color and is something I’d actually wear, as opposed to some of the crazy plaid blazers which I never would.
Moonlight Layer Long Sleeve Tee. I talked about these every.single.month over the winter. I have many of them and they are wonderful. They are on the sheer side, so they are correct when they say they are for layering. But they are so silky, smooth and stretchy.
Moonlight Long Pajamas. These are basically the only pajamas I will wear – I have raved about them for years and years. I’ve tried the dupes (amazon, target, etc) and they do not compare. These are amazing for yourself or a gift. I gift these a ton at christmas, or for a baby shower, etc.
Moonlight Nightshirt. Same thing as the other PJs, just the nightshirt with no buttons. Super comfortable. I have many of them and have worn them in all seasons.
UGG Fleece Robe. Another lounge-y item, but my parents got me an UGG robe many years ago and it’s such a staple of mine in the winter. Seriously comfortable, warm, and lays so nicely. It doesn’t have huge arms that get stuck in makeup or while drying hair. I love the colors this year.
True & Co Bralette. This has been my favorite bralette for ages – it works under so many things and is super flattering because it doesn’t have seams.
AllSaints Sarris Bootie. I got these boots in late 2019 and absolutely adore them. They were one of my first boots with a chunkier heel in years – I find them to be SO comfortable and also super cute and flattering!
Sorel Waterproof Wedge Bootie. These are nothing new if you’ve been here for awhile! I live for my sorel wedges and if you live in a snowy or icy climate, they are ideal. One of my most worn shoes in the winter – and they can be dressed up or down.
Aquatalia Waterproof Boot. Last year I got a pair of aquatalia boots at the same so similar to these. Since we are in cold weather for at least half of the year, I wanted a waterproof boot that would last. These are amazing quality and will last me a lifetime!
Schutz Block Heel Sandal. Absolutely LOVE these sandals – they are on my list to get! Schutz is one of my favorite brands because they shoes are so comfortable. I love the gold and pink versions of these. Also love that these can be worn now and are not a fall shoe.
On Cloud Running Shoe. I just talked about my On sneakers in last week’s summer fridays. They have incredible support for walking or cross training (I haven’t run in them so I can’t speak to that). I adore them and have worn a version for two years now. They are not the cutest shoe, but they are SO supportive and great for outside.
Adidas Ultraboost Running Shoe. My longtime favorites, they ultraboosts, are also in the sale! I’ve worn these for YEARS and buy a pair over and over again. I wear them everyday to cook in the kitchen, wear them to walk or workout or even just with athlesiure. They are like walking on clouds.
BAGS & ACCESSORIES
Aimee Kestenberg Leather Backpack. I have fallen in love with Aimee Kestenberg bags over the last few months. I love a backpack with the kids and I am ordering this one in the sale. I think it’s so cute.
Calpak 22 Inch Spinner Suitcase. I’ve had my calpak carry on for ages now – even Eddie has taken it in the past when traveling. I love the size, the quality for the price and how easy it is to use. It’s a great suitcase if you do a lot of weekend trips.
Longchamp Expandable Tote. This tote is another fave of mine for traveling. Have had it for years and you cannot beat the quality – it holds SO much (just recently took mine as my hospital bag again) and doesn’t get ruined. It can also be folded up to the tiniest size and is super packable.
Longchamp Nylon Bag. This is another version of the tote above and I’m going to grab this one at the sale. We use these so much that having a second one will be great for any kind of travel – and even when we go to someone’s house for the day!
Tumi Duffle Bag. Eddie’s leather duffle bag that he has used for years bit the dust a few weeks ago when we were leaving the hotel for my brother’s wedding. Getting him this one because Tumi bags are the best,
Barefoot Dreams In The Wild Blanket. It’s worth the hype – these are the only blankets we use in our house and people fight over them. I buy them for gifts every holiday season. It is the best present. I have tried many of the ones that claim to be similar and nothing compares.
Boll & Branch Sheets. Since we have a king bed, sheets are so expensive. I’ve bought the boll & brand at this sale in the past for our bed because I can never find them cheaper. They are so soft and silky.
Waffle Bath Body Wrap. I am ordering this in the sale because I’ve never had one, and I’ve wanted one forever!
W&P Reusable Storage Bag. W&P is one of my favorite brands for storage in the kitchen. I use their containers and bowls daily. I love my stasher reusable bags and we use them for the kids constantly, but I love that these storage bags stand up!
Dyson V11 Vacuum. Our vacuum is on it’s last leg and I’ve wanted one of these stick vacuums for ages. Definitely getting it now when I can rack up the rewards.
Fellow Matte White Kettle. I have this kettle and use it in my photos a ton in the winter, and get lots of questions about it. It’s a show stopped and one of those things that can be left out in the kitchen. It’s super pretty.
Wolf Watch & Accessory Case. I shared this in my gift guide last year because it was the big gift I bought for Eddie at christmas. He LOVES it. He really likes watched and has collected them for years. This is so gorgeous and holds everything!
Slip Silk Pillowcases. My fave!! Have had my pillowcases for YEARS. Even just a few weeks ago I took mine to the hospital while in labor and everyone asked about it. So good for your hair and skin. I haven’t slept without one in at least four or five years.
Slip Hair Ties. I use one of these every single night if I put my hair back while I sleep, and have for years. They are great at preventing creases.
Origins Ginger Souffle Body Cream. I can’t believe this is in the sale! I’ve talked about this since 2014 when I used it while pregnant with Max – it’s now a really nostalgic scent for me. I love it. It’s very refreshing but also warm at the same time.
Dr Dennis Gross Pro Facial Steamer. I bought this last year at the sephora sale and have LOVED it. I used it the entire time I was pregnant, like once a week, for a mini at home facial. It’s definitely worth it and very easy to use.
AQUIS Hair Wrap. I’ve also used these for years!! They are like gold right now as I’m in the postpartum hair loss season. Absolutely wonderful to protect your hair from breakage.
Caroline Herrara Good Girl Perfume Set. One of my all-time favorite perfumes – this is the most warm, delicious scent and I think I read it’s the best selling perfume in the world? I get so many compliments on it. I hate the bottle but adore the fragrance.
Oribe Texture Spray Set. This is my favorite texture spray for my hair – I use it on dry hair only. It creates texture without leaving your hair crunchy or stiff or tangled. It’s fantastic and so expensive, so I always buy one when on sale.
Laura Mercier Caviar Eye Sticks. A longtime eye shadow fave of mine, you can’t beat these. They are like a one-and-done eyeshadow product and so pretty. They don’t crease on me at all either.
BABIES & KIDS
Tripp Trapp High Chair. This is the one baby item I am buying! I used the same high chair with Max and Emilia but after 7 years it is pretty beat. I always wished I had got this stokke one because the reviews are incredible and it lasts forever. I will either keep it here once Jordan is done or pass it on to family.
Uppa Baby Vista Stroller. This is our double stroller that we got with Emilia and I’ve always loved it. Super easy to use – we’ve got SO much use out of it. Emilia can still fit in it now, so it will get even more use with Jordan.
Nuna Rava Car Seat. This is our convertible car seat and it’s great. Max was in this (he’s now in the exec seat), Emilia is in it now and Jordan will have it eventually too. It’s also what my mom has in her car – the sale is when we bought hers a few years ago.
Little Giraffe Baby Blanket. One of the most classic baby blankets ever – both Max and Emilia have one of these that they got as gifts. I love gifting this as well.
Little Giraffe Hooded Towel. Same as above – you can’t beat this as a gift. It’s SO fluffy and such a lovely towel. I’m buying one for Jordan!
First Foods Set. I have one of these from when Emilia started eating. It’s fantastic because it suctions to the table so the babies can’t throw their plates. You can also take it anywhere.
Here’s a peek at everything I loved in June 2021! xo FOOD Crispy Dillies. OH MY GOSH. These are like crispy pickle chips and basically the best thing I’ve ever eaten. If you love pickles, you will LOVE them. They are supposed to be a “topper” (like for salads and burgers) but I also eat […]

Crispy Dillies. OH MY GOSH. These are like crispy pickle chips and basically the best thing I’ve ever eaten. If you love pickles, you will LOVE them. They are supposed to be a “topper” (like for salads and burgers) but I also eat them right from the bag. Delish.
Peanut Butter Mini Kind Chewy Bars. I’ve been LIVING on these. I haven’t eaten KIND bars in years (anyone else feel like they will crack your teeth?!) but found these at ALDI and grabbed them. Oh my gosh. They are so chewy and delicious. I’ve even eaten them in the middle of the night when I’m up nursing the baby and starving! Such a perfect snack – and a little chewy bite.
Chobani Iced Coffee. I finally got the chobani coffee at a few of my local stores and I have to say I really enjoy it! I like the version with the vanilla creamer and it’s so easy – just pour over ice.
S’mores Bark. Um, this is pretty insane. Everything in this line is delicious. I can’t stop.
9seed coverup dress. I am OBSESSED with these tie dye coverups. They can be a cover up or a dress, they come in one size (worked with tons of room when I was fully pregnant and still works now), is pretty nursing friendly (easy to pull down) and just SO cute. I will never get over my love for neon tie dye. There are a bunch of solid color versions too!
Bravado sleep bras. Lacy got me one of these a few weeeks ago and I LOVE it. It’s so comfortable and soft. Best nighttime/nursing bra I’ve ever tried.
Tory Burch Miller Cloud Flip Flops. I’ve been a fan of the classic miller flip flops for YEARS. Now I don’t love how these look as much, but they are the perfect mom shoe – they have so much more support than the regular miller version. I really like them!
trunco Glass Tumblers. Love these glasses so much for iced coffee! They are so cute. Make a great gift too!
Hatch Restore. I have a Hatch rest in Emilia’s room, but have wanted to get the restore for our room for months. I figured I’d wait until the baby was here so I can fully utilize it even more and it’s wonderful. Absolutely LOVE it – and the light feature is great – it’s what I use while nursing at night.
Bose Bluetooth Speaker. I’ve mentioned this a few times in the last year or two, but we LOVE this mini speaker. We always have it playing outside, I use it inside for the kids and it’s also the one we took to the hospital and played the entire time we were there with the baby. It’s great. I love this case for it too.
My BABY playlist. Mentioning it for the millionth time but gosh, we love this playlist so much. I can’t stop listening to it!
Golden Girl by Elin Hilderbrand. Can’t even handle how much I love Elin’s most recent book. GOSH she just gets better and better. This one really got me!
Hacks. The show on HBO was unbelievably good! I binged it so quickly and can’t wait for another season!
Harry Potter Illustrated Edition. I got these for Max for Christmas a few years ago and he is FINALLY into Harry Potter now! Reading them everyday and having such a blast. He absolutely loves them.
Thermos Funtainers. These remain our FAVORITE water bottles for the kids. Never leak, keep water super cold – they are wonderful. We’ve had some for over five years and they are in perfect condition. I also love the pottery barn kids version because they have larger 16 oz bottles with straws. They are what Max took to school everyday this past year.
Doona car seat. This is the best thing we bought for the baby! The Doona car seat has wheels that transform it into a stroller and it’s been incredible. I don’t think I’d love it so much if the other kids were younger, but since Max and Emilia are out of strollers, it’s been ideal for us!

Ever tried buckwheat pancakes? Sure, they aren’t the prettiest pancakes around, but they make up for their humble appearance with wonderful flavor and texture. Buckwheat, a gluten-free relative of rhubarb, has a delicate, almost nutty flavor all its own.
Thanks to the buckwheat flour, these pancakes are naturally gluten free! These pancakes possess a light and airy consistency that quietly surrenders to the pressure of a fork and soaks up maple syrup like a sponge. I just love them.
This recipe was originally adapted from a fun cookbook called Pancakes, by fellow food blogger Adrianna Adarme of A Cozy Kitchen. I visit Adrianna’s blog any time I need some creative recipe inspiration or a laugh, which is often.
It’s been eight years, so I’m revisiting this recipe to update the photos. I also tweaked the recipe a bit to work even better with 100 percent buckwheat flour. I added another egg and a smidge more flour. Hope you’ll give them a try soon!

Here’s a peek at everything I loved in May (and April!) 2021! xo
Elemental Bars. The peanut butter and almond butter versions are my favorite. These have been lifesavers a few mornings. I love the seedy (almost crisp) texture and I actually think they taste so good. Great to have in a pinch and perfect for the morning. They are a nice switch from Perfect Bars (which I also love!)
Topo Chico Twist of Lime. Eddie and I have been obsessed with the lime topo chico the last few months. It’s just SO fizzy!
Kirkland Chocolate Coconut Cashews. Well these taste like caramel delites (or do you say samoas!) and are basically dangerous. SO FREAKING GOOD.
Lemon Lime Liquid IV. Liquid IV has saved me the last few months. For the first time ever I’ve had a really hard time drinking enough water (it’s all I drink unless I have coffee in the morning!) and with this pregnancy, it’s like I just don’t have room to drink as much. I’ve definitely felt dehydrated at times and had lots of braxton hicks from being on my feet, but hydration always clears it up. I started doing one liquid IV a day and it’s a game changer. I only ever used to drink them if I felt dehydrated from a workout or the sun. But this is EVERYTHING. The only downside for me is that they are a little sweet and I don’t like sweet drinks. You can always spread it out over two bottles of water! Lemon lime is def my favorite flavor.
Rails Raw Hem Chambray. It’s no secret how much I love Rails shirts, but this one is next level. It’s such an old school looking wash and I love it, which is huge because I hate 90s grunge things and stuff like that. It’s so soft and comfy and I plan on living in it especially after the baby comes when I’m nursing.
Champion c9 Tanks. My favorite workout tanks ever (or just life tanks!) are on amazon now (used to be sold at Target) and they are the best. The cut is so flattering, they are so soft. I ordered a few more in a size up to accommodate this bump and it’s perfect.
Parchment Paper Baking Sheets. These sheets come in a folder so they are completely flat and ready for baking sheets. I love it. There is no ripping from a roll and they don’t bunch up from being rolled up.
Bose Soundlink Bluetooth Speaker.
Fabric Shaver. I discovered this a few months ago and it’s changed the game for some of our furniture. It’s been great at removing pilling from our couch and chair! It’s also weirdly satisfying, as I’m sure you can imagine.
Erin Church Heart & Soul Album. Cannot.get.enough. Seriously. I’ve been listening to Eric Church nonstop and love all the new music. I even ended up very optimistically buying concert tickets for later this year (no idea if we will feel comfortable going when the time comes!) because I can’t stop. It’s just so, so good.
Mare of Easttown. It feels like there has been nothing good on TV for months, but this HBO show is amazing. Kate Winslet is just.so.good in it! I am loving it. There are only five episodes out right now but it’s def my favorite.
Color changing rain coats. The kids got these as gifts and they are the nicest rain coats they’ve ever had! First, they are fun. Second, they are lined so well and pretty warm – they’ve been wonderful in the chilly spring. Third, they snap which both kids can easily do. So nice!
Babiators. I’m in sunglasses 24/7 because my eyes are so sensitive and the kids wear them often too. I don’t know if it’s from having light eyes (I’ve heard this but who knows), but we’ve used babiators since Max was one. We’ve never lost or broken a pair. They are 100% worth it. I love that they are polarized and fit snuggly but don’t hurt their ears. They are almost stretchy, if that makes sense!
Dino Eggs. We got these for the kids for easter and it was their first time having them. Both are obsessed with dinosaurs so this has been SO fun for them to do together. It’s kind of messy but since it’s warm out now, we just do it outside!

It’s been a few months since I did a beauty faves! Last year I really fell off the wagon of sharing my monthly favorites, because with quarantine it was the same thing every single month. I also went so many days without wearing any sort of makeup or anything, and my skin care stayed the same. But! At the end of last year I told you how my skin has been a WRECK this entire pregnancy (it’s crazy!) and while not much has changed, now that I’m in the third trimester it does seem to be getting sliiiiightly better. I feel like I’ve been able to wear makeup a bit more and have got to pick up my skincare routine again.
Also, I’m super excited for the sephora VIB spring sale! It feels like it’s been ages since I’ve been excited for MAKEUP (and not just skincare, which is mostly what I care about these days), but I’ve found some great things this year. I narrowed it down to 15 products I use all the time and absolutely love – skin, makeup, body, etc. Some are repeats you’ve heard me rave about, but some are new since the start of this year!
Supergoop Glowscreen. I can’t handle how much I love this sunscreen for my face and neck. I use it both on non-makeup days and under light makeup. It evens out my complexion so much and the glow is incredible. Only thing is – don’t get it too close to your eyes or it will migrate into them.
Indie Lee Brightening Cleanser. This has been my favorite cleanser for a few years and one I’ve repurchased probably ten times. I love how it cleanses, how it smells and the texture. It doesn’t dry out my skin at all.
Sol de Janiero Bum Bum Cream. Forever favorite! I buy one of these in spring every year for the summer – it’s now a nostalgic scent for me. It’s a bit shimmery too and I love it on legs/arms in the sunlight.
Augustinus Bader The Rich Cream. I started using this cream early last fall and throughout my pregnancy, this has single handedly saved my skin. This is also what I use as an eye cream. It is so expensive but you can often find it on sale – and now sephora has it! I love it and cannot imagine being without it.
Westman Atelier Peau de Peche Tinted Highlight. This may be my favorite new product of 2021. Despite the name, this isn’t so much a highlight. I look at it as a highlight + blush + almost bronzy color for my skin. It really warms up my skin, but not in a bad way because I’m very cool toned. Adore it!
Sephora Pro Foundation Brush. This is the brush that I use for both products above. I love how it blends! It’s super soft and I find it to be a great brush for the price.
Westman Atelier Lit Up Highlighter. I really love all the highlighters from WA, but this one is probably my favorite. It’s so glowy and natural, you can put it anyway. It’s effortless and super easy to use, especially in a pinch.
Ilia Super Serum Skin Tint Foundation. I still don’t like heavy foundation on my skin, and this is my current fave if I want a little more coverage. I’ve used this since last summer and love how it works and evens my skintone.
Kosas Moisturizing Baked Bronzer. Fell in love with this bronzer last year and it’s amazing. I use the light shade. Such a good shade if you’re cool toned (won’t make you look orange) and blends so nicely.
Fresh Sugar Lip Balm in Bloom. I always buy two or three of these during a sale. Another effortless product – perfect color, without needing to use a mirror. And super moisturizing too. Plus it has SPF!
Tom Ford Soleil Blanc. This is my favorite warm weather scent and since perfumes (especially Tom Ford!) never go on sale, it’s the best time to get one. This is a light, summery fragrance with a hint of beachy coconut – but not sweet coconut. It’s fantastic.
St Tropez Bronzing Water Face Mist. When it comes to self tanning, this face mist is unbeatable. I discovered it last summer and it is SO easy to use, especially since tanning products never last on my face with my skincare. It doesn’t turn my skin orange and is so even.
Tan Luxe The Butter Illuminating Cream. I’ve repurchased this so many times – it blends incredibly and is such a nice self tanning cream to use. It is a gradual tanner and doesn’t transfer to clothes once dry. The smell isn’t terrible either.
