Today I’m sharing all of my 2022 sephora sale favorites for the fall VIB sale!

It’s been forever since I did a dedicated beauty faves post. I do include my beauty picks in my favorites every month if you’re searching! But… mostly because once 2020 hit, I just wasn’t wearing makeup as much and in the last fives years or so, I’ve made a serious switch to skincare over makeup. So many of you have told me this as you’ve gotten older and I can totally relate. I still love makeup and beauty products, but skincare definitely comes first for me at the moment.

EVERYTHING below is something I use and love (or have used and loved) – these are all my personal recommendations. I ramble about them too. They probably come as no surprise considering I’ve talked about almost everything before, but here we are! I’d love to hear what you love so I can build out my wishlist!

The main thing: I love to use the fall VIB sale to stock up on holiday gifts (either sets for people or I break sets apart as little gifts too!) and my favorite skincare. I also love it to buy perfume during the sale, because you can rarely find that on sale (if ever!) – especially Tom Ford, Jo Malone, Killian, etc. None of this is sponsored, I just loooove talking beauty products with you.

2022 SEPHORA Fall VIB SALE FAVORITES

HOLIDAY GIFT SETS

Sephora Advent Calendar. I live for an advent calendar. Just bought this one this morning.

Pro Brush Set. These pro brushes are my favorites at the moment. I use them every day.

Laneige Lip Mask Set. And I use this lip gloss every night. My kids love it too.

Fenty Lip Gloss Set. This is the prettiest lip gloss ever – I love all three of these shades.

Holiday Must Haves Set.

Merit Blush Trio. This is the one new-to-me product. I love cream blushes.

Sephora Perfume Sampler. Some of my favorites in here!

Sephora Cologne Sampler. And this is how Eddie tests cologne too.

Olaplex Hair Repair Set. If you’re an olaplex lover, this is a hit. I get this for my mom for christmas every year.

Tarte Juicy Lip Gloss Set. Some of my favorite everyday glosses.

Sol de Janiero Bum Bum Cream Set. It’s no secret I adore the bum bum cream. It’s the best scent!

Holiday Lip Set.

Fresh Sugar Lip Balm Set. This is my go-to restorative lip set. I use this at night and keep one in my car and bag too.

SKIN

Augustinus Bader The Rich Cream . I never stopped using my rich cream – at the height of the PD, I just used it as an eye cream! I LOVE how this works under makeup, both on my face and under the eyes. I will never be without this product. Yes, it is insanely expensive but if you do some research on it, it is a great product. If you’ve wanted to try, now is the time. It is rarely on sale more than this.

Sobel Skin RX Moisturizing Cream . This is very close to Bader above. It’s thick and wonderful and smells good. Almost as great as the above if you don’t want to spend $$$$$.

Indie Lee Brightening Cleanser. This has been my favorite cleanser for a few years and one I’ve repurchased probably ten times. I love how it cleanses, how it smells and the texture. It doesn’t dry out my skin at all.

Supergoop Glow screen . I still love this sunscreen. I use it both on non-makeup days and under light makeup. It evens out my complexion so much and the glow is incredible. If you don’t like a glow, do NOT get this. Only thing is that if I get it REMOTELY close to my eyes, it migrates into them.

Supergoop Unseen Sunscreen . I love this equally as much as the above, it’s just a different product. The formula of this is incredible. It’s almost like a primer and it’s great under makeup. This is a matte look – so nothing like the glowy one above.

Tan Luxe The Butter. I’ve repurchased this so many times – it blends incredibly and is such a nice self tanning cream to use. It is a gradual tanner and doesn’t transfer to clothes once dry. The smell isn’t terrible either.

Sol De Janiero Bum Bum Cream. My favorite forever, this scent is one that will immediately transport me back to pre-2020 days with so much happiness. I use this constantly and it is a wonderful moisturizing product.

Dr Dennis Gross Facial Steamer. I bought this last year and it has changed my life! Facials at home!! It’s wonderful. Would make a great gift (for yourself?! Ha).

Dr. Dennis Gross Daily Peel Pads. I haven’t stopped raving about these since I bought them and they really changed the texture of my skin.

First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream. I love this cream for all over the body – everyone in our family uses this. It’s also fragrance free. It’s mild and great for eczema.

Stacked Skincare Dermaplane. Bought this last year, watched a few youtube videos and done! Dermaplane at home. It’s great.

Fresh Sugar Advanced Therapy Lip balm. Definitely my holy grail lip balm. It’s pricey and not one I keep in my purse (because they always go missing!), but it’s amazing for dry lips.

MAKEUP

Beauty Blender. I am never without a beauty blender for foundation/bb cream/concealer/etc.

Iconic London Underglow Blurring Primer. I don’t like primers but LOVE this. It just evens out the skin and smooths it – I use it on its own or mix with a tinter moisturizer or foundation.

Iconic London Blurring Skin Tint. Also love this!! I’ve been mixing it with the above. Still light coverage, but very natural and nice.

Ilia Super Serum Skin Tint. I still don’t like heavy foundation on my skin, and this is my current fave if I want a little more coverage. I’ve used this for two years and love how much it evens out my skintone. I’d say it’s light to medium coverage.

bareMinerals Complexion Rescue. If you like really light coverage, this is still my absolute favorite. I’ve used it forever.

KVD Beauty Good Apple Foundation. This was a tiktok sensation. It is very heavy foundation, but completely masks everything. EVERYTHING! I can’t believe how amazing it makes my skin look. I used this a ton last year when I did virtual events for my book onscreen. If you like full coverage, you can’t get better than this.

Too Faced Born This Way Concealer. My favorite concealer under my eyes. It is so perfect and not too drying.

Iconic London Liquid Highlight. Adore this highlight for mixing with foundation or moisturizer. It’s very liquidy and it’s pretty golden (almost too golden for me!) but it is wonderful for mixing. I use this almost everyday.

Westman Atelier Contour Stick. My favorite contour stick of all time. I use the shade biscuit. I’m on my second one and it is a great formula.

Westman Atelier Super Loaded Tinted Highlight. I have all 3 of these and love them. Rose is in the photos you see. The peau de peche is more warm. The soleil is bronzy. I love them all for different makeup looks and different times of year.

Westman Atelier Baby Cheeks. This is the only blush I’ve used for over a year! My favorite shades are poppet and minette.

Hourglass Unlocked Mascara. I hate buying expensive mascara but omg this is WORTH IT. It’s a tubing mascara and does not flake or smudge, plus gives excellent length.

Benefit Gimme Brow. The ONLY thing I use on my brows. It’s so natural. Nothing compares to the tiny brush.

Kaja Wink Stamp Liner. If you like to do a cat eye but always mess it is, THIS IS FOR YOU! You just stamp on the cat eye. It’s awesome.

Nars Pro Prime Smudgeproof Base. This is my favorite for eyeshadow base. Have used it forever.

Shesheido Microliner Eyeliner. I just bought this last month and am STUNNED at how great it is. So easy to use and almost like liquid liner, but not.

Makeup by Mario Moistureglow Lip. Obsessed with this. It is SO moisturizing and love the colors. Like a balm with a lot of color!

Sephora Pro Foundation Brush. This is the brush that I use for my westman atelier products. I love how it blends! It’s super soft and I find it to be a great brush for the price.

HAIR

Dyson Hair Dryer. Eddie got this for me for Christmas last year. It is life changing. I would only ever buy it if it is on sale, and if you have a lot of hair. It adds so mcu volume and body!

Dyson Air Wrap. Another thing I didn’t think I’d ever buy, but last year I did. It is AMAZING! This can definitely be a one stop shop for your hair. If I could only take one hair tool with me to a deserted island, it would be this. It’s so pricey and rarely ever on sale!

Bumble and Bumble Invisible Oil Shampoo. Favorite shampoo ever! Get the value size if you can.

Bumble and Bumble Invisible Oil Conditioner. Same as the above. The scent is so good too.

Moroccan Oil Root Boost. I love this for some volume when styling. I use on wet hair before drying.

Living Proof  Restore Perfecting Spray. My favorite leave in condition. Doesn’t weigh down my hair at all.

Oribe Dry Texturizing Spray. This is my favorite spray to use on dry hair. Adds texture and volume but isn’t sticky.

Sol de Janiero Dry Shampoo. Again, the best scent. If you need a dry shampoo, go for this!

T3 Whirl Trio. I bought this at a VIB sale a few years ago and still use it weekly. It is an amazing high-quality set that took me a long time to buy (so pricey!) but I use it SO much. And I love that it comes with three sizes of the wand.

FRAGRANCE

I am a warm fragrance person. I love all things vanilla, amber, mush, a very very light hint of floral – those are the scents I gravitate towards. These are a few of my all-time faves that I highly recommenced. Fragrance never goes on sale so this is the perfect time to try. I also always try travel sizes first when possible before buying a big bottle.

Carolina Herrara Good Girl. As a note, I hate this bottle. It kept me from buying it for years. But this is basically the best scent ever.

Tom Ford Soleil Blanc. My go to summer scent. A light coconutty but warm fragrance.

Tom Ford Lost Cherry Warm and delicious with a hint of red cherry. It’s so good.

Kilian Paris Love Don’t Be Shy. This is kind of marshmallowy and sweet but also light with light floral. It’s delicious.

Jo Malone Mimosa and Cardamom. A longtime favorite of mine. Warm and floraly.

[as usual, none of this is sponsored and all of these products were purchased by me. i am not affiliated with any of the companies above, nor do i accept free products. just love to talk about what i like, makeup junkie to makeup junkie. there are some amazon and general reward style affiliate links above. thank you for being here!]

A peek at everything I loved in October 2022!

FOOD

Stok Pumpkin Cold Brew. I know this is a repeat but I just love it SO much. I don’t like regular Stok, so it always surprises me that I love it this much.

Waterloo Spiced Apple Seltzer. This is another delicious fall drink. So good on it’s own but also love it mixed with some apple cider and caramel vodka in my caramel apple crush. I found mine in store at Target!

Pumpkin Gooey Bars. These are one of my favorite pumpkin treats. So many flavors and textures and different enough from pumpkin cookies or pie.

HOME

Simple Modern 40oz Tumbler. I can’t believe I’m saying this but I love it more than my Stanley tumbler. It is sleeker, more attractive, slimmer, the lid screws in so much tighter and the straw doesn’t budge. It’s so good. It doesn’t leak at all (that was never a concern of mine for the Stanley) and just looks so much nicer.

Hotel Lobby New York Candle. This smells like the most delicious cologne – it’s very warm and fall-like but not sweet at all. Unfortunately it appears that it’s sold out now. I also LOVE their signature candle and holiday candle too!

Flameless Taper Candles. I love flameless candles but this is my first go at tapers. I’ve been using these since September and think they will look even better with Christmas decor!

Sauce bowl and ladle. I bought this a few months ago when shooting Thanksgiving content and it is my new favorite table piece. It is SO pretty on the table. Sure, great for gravy but also for homemade salad dressing or mini soup shooters!

BEAUTY

Kaja Wink Stamp Liner. I have hooded eyelids and have always had a hard time with winged liner. This is literally a stamp that you touch to your skin once and boom, it’s done. I love it! I could have used this years ago, haha.

Tinted Lip Enhancement. I saw this on IG and bought it months ago – I love it. I’m on my second tube. It is super soft and moisturizing but also has a very light pink wash. This is one I always keep in my car and purse.

Kaja Moon Crystal Eye Pigment. This is my current one-swipe eye color. I love these. I use different versions all the time and once I finish, tend to try a new one. This one is really good. Also is a great base for shadow.

FASHION

Neon pink Nike Air Max. Hello, I should probably buy five pairs of these so I can wear them for the next ten years? I love this air max shoe for comfort and then this color… instantly sold.

AllSaints Harper bootie. I talk about these every fall! And every Nordstrom sale. I got the version three years ago in the Nordstrom sale for half price and they are my most worn fall and winter boot. They are so comfortable and easy to walk in for being over three inches. I can walk and stand in these for hours, that is how comfortable they are.

Calia long puffer vest. I LOVE my short puffer vest and wear it 24/7 – seriously it’s like my fall/winter uniform for casual dress. I hated the long ones last year but some on people this year, loved it and got this one. I LOVE IT. It’s all the fun and coziness of the puffer without half of the bulk. It’s also great for Max’s hockey games and sitting on cold bleacher seats!

MEDIA

Scandalized. I’ll talk more about this in my October reads but I LOVED this one. It is steamy but not cringy. I loved the story so much and it was a great fast read.

Midnights by Taylor Swift. I like it even more than I thought I did at first. It’s so catchy.

Tell Me Lies on Hulu. I have a love/hate relationship with this show. No one is really likable (except for Evan and Bree) but I couldn’t wait to watch it every week. The finale end was shocking.

KIDS

Crayola Scribble Scrubbies. Emilia got these for her birthday last year and loves them. They provide hours of entertainment for her. I just bought a new variety for her birthday next week.

Duplo bath blocks. We are huuuuge lego fans over here and I just found these last week. Such a good find! Jordan desperately needed some of his own (and new) bath toys and these were just the right thing.

Touch & Learn USA Map. I’ve mentioned how Max is super into geography. He has loved this. He grew out of it pretty fast because he just soaked up all the info and memorized it, but I think he would have loved it even more at age five.

A peek at everything I loved in September 2022!

FOOD

My baked pumpkin cheesecake oatmeal. Right now, I could eat this every single day. This is a pumpkin edition of food favorites.

Starbucks Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew. I can’t help it! I love it so much and order it with extra foam. And yes, I have made a pumpkin coconut cream cold brew at home!

Stok Creamed Pumpkin. This is the coffee I drink at home right now. I always do iced coffee. This doesn’t even need creamer.

Dunkin’ Pumpkin Munchkin Creamer. But um, if you need creamer, this is the best pumpkin one I have found. oh my word. It is delicious.

HOME

Parchment Baking Sheets. I just replenished my stash of parchment sheets last week. These are IDEAL for baking anything. They come in a box and you just grab one as needed – they fit your sheet pan!

Voluspa Pumpkin Latte candle. Loving this scent for fall right now. And I also have the big obnoxious candle. It burns perfectly down and makes the whole house smell. I love how it’s just a giant piece of decor. And voluspa uses the coconut wax!

Acupressure Mat. I bought one of these after seeing TIBAL talk about it on instagram and I use it every single day. I use it in the afternoon and I swear it helps me relax and reset altogether. Seems weird but works! I don’t have back or neck pain, but it does help me feel better overall.

BEAUTY

Tartelette In Bloom Eyeshadow palette. I’ve had this palette forever but brought it out and have been using it nonstop. It has the best neutral shades for eyes.

Iconic London Underglow Primer. I am not a primer person but bought this on a whim. I LOVE IT. It is really skin perfecting. I like it on its own with minimal makeup but I also love mixing it with tinted moisturizer or the skin tint below.

Iconic London Blurring Skin Tint. Obsessed with this too! It’s so light with pretty good coverage. I mix it with the primer above and love the result.

FASHION

Zella Blazer Hoodie. I bought this at the Nordstrom sale this summer and LOVE it. It’s perfect for the weather right now, kind of dresses things up but also keeps them casual enough. It’s perfect.

Sorel Block Heel Boots. I love Sorel everything. Last year I had these in white and I got them in black and hot pink this year. Hello, my dream!?

Lulu Align Sports Bra. I have been waiting for this FOREVER!! It is just as good as I hoped. Stretchy but still supportive. I still love the like a cloud bra too!

MEDIA

Lessons in Chemistry. This was a huge fave this month. It was so good!

Partner Track. I watched this and loved it. Though I have to say… I like Nick best as her love interest?!

Dr. Becky’s Good Inside Podcast. Love. Wish she could live in my head!

KIDS

Lovevery Carrot Box. We get the lovevery boxes every few months and this one for months 13-15 is great. We have always loved all the toys but there is a carrot coin box in this one and Jordan absolutely loved it! Unfortunately you cannot buy the carrot toy separately, but we love everything else in that box too!

Silicone Chew Sticks. Jordan has been a teething monster with his molars coming in, and while we’ve had these silicone chew sticks for a year, he is crazy over them right now. They help his little mouth feel so much better!

Mondo Llama Ceramic Paint Pumpkins. My kids LOVE these things. I can’t even tell you – they will paint these for two hours and they provide great entertainment when it’s rainy or I’m making dinner, etc. Plus, I love seeing how creative and different they turn out. We are loving the pumpkins, but we’ve also done dinosaurs, unicorns, and many others in the past!

A peek at everything I loved in July and August 2022!

FOOD

Tomato toast!! I will never let a summer favorites post pass without a tomato toast mention. It’s on repeat. Sourdough, sharp cheddar, tomato.

A Dozen Cousins beans. These are my favorite beans. The flavors – so good. The ease and packaging, incredible. I give them to the kids too. Both refried beans are amazing.

Trader Joe’s Dill Pickle Mustard. Enough said. If you are a pickle freak like I am, you need this. It’s amazing in egg salad.

Trader Joe’s Patio Potato Chips. We have loved these since they came out a few years ago. Again, very pickle and mustard forward. We buy multiple bags at a time! And I am not a huge chip person.

Topo Chico margarita hard seltzers. I was so excited to try these this year! I really like the strawberry hibiscus and signature flavors. I do wish they had more of that super fizzy bubble that regular topo chico has, but they are still delish. On their IG, they show them dipped in chamoy and tajin. I have to try!

HOME

Scout 4 Boys bag. I can’t rave about this bag enough. I talk about it every summer. I use this as our pool and beach bag – it’s waterproof, has a zipper, can hold all the towels, sunscreen, clothes, snacks, water bottles – EVERYTHING. It’s amazing.

Salted Honey candle. I am absolutely loving this scent. And the glass it comes in is so pretty. I think this is the perfect summer to fall transition scent.

Triple wireless charger. This saves my life daily. It charges my phone, watch and airpods all at once. It is SO easy and I love it.

BEAUTY

Kosas Buttery Lip Treatment. Loving this so much – it’s incredibly moisturizing, smells incredible. I have two – one for the house, one for my car.

Dior Tie and Dior Lipstick. This shade is everything. It’s very much “my lips but better” – maybe the best I have found.

Haus Labs Le Monster Lip Crayon. I got this in two shades and love it. It’s matte, but almost moisturizing and not drying whatsoever. So pretty!

Olive and June Jam Please. This is the best color – it’s a bright orchid-y cool toned purple and so pretty!

FASHION

Summersalt Striped Dress. My SIL wore this dress over memorial day and I had to get it. It’s been my most worn dress next to my favorite athleta one. It just goes with everything, for most summer occasions. It’s so comfortable too.

Rails Ingrid Shirt with Stars. Obsessed with rails soft denim (I’ve mentioned them here for years!) and this one is no exception. It’s so fun.

Aimee Kestenberg Belt Bag. I can’t live without these bags as slings when I have all the kids with me. I love this version for a sliiiiightly elevated look because my regular ones are more casual looking.

MEDIA

Tomorrow and Tomorrow and Tomorrow. Oh my gosh. Still thinking about this book. I loved it SO much. It’s up there with Black Cake, Book Lovers and Every Summer After for me!

The Lazy Genius Podcast. This podcast is one of my weekly go-tos. It does apply mostly to families with kids but occasionally she will have something else that really resonates. The episodes are pretty short too, so I’ll do a dreaded task while listening.

Virgin River Season 4. I can’t get over how much I loved this. I watched it twice. So glad after season 3 wasn’t that great!

KIDS

Reusable water balloons. We LOVED these this summer. They don’t take the place of regular water balloons but they are so much fun in their own right. The kids can play with them for hours! You just have to set out a bucket of water.

Bugaboo Stardust. The ease of setting this up for baby/toddler sleep is incredible. I have the guava and baby bjorn but I hate that they are basically laying on the floor. This is absolutely perfect if you’re looking for a small pack and play. It is very narrow and great for small spaces.

Bentgo chill boxes. I love the yum boxes the best for lunches, but these bentgo ones have an actual ice pack for the base of the box. They have been a lifesaver this summer and I am going to use it for Max the next month or so too.

Backseat organizers. If you’re a roadtrip family, you need this. Everything organized for the kids in one back seat. We put them on the back seats for the third row and Max and Emilia loved them.

Every year I share my favorites from the Nordstrom anniversary sale and after asking if you wanted to see them this year, I was super excited to share them again! I don’t worry about trendy or crazy new items in the sale – I love it for classic basics and there are things I’ve had forever that are at a great price. You’ve probably read about many of these below in my favorites post each month! That’s one of the reasons I like to post this… to share some of those things I’ve used and loved over the last year.

I have a love/hate relationship with this sale because it’s a lot of the same things every year. The only reason that’s good, is because I have had some of these things for years, gift many of them and can successfully review them! This year, I’m really only sharing below the things that I have and adore. There are many things in the sale that I’ve had for five plus years and they are my go-to items. There are only a handful of things below that I don’t have and want to purchase myself- I think 5 or 6 items this year. I go into detail about each item below.

P.S. this is in no way sponsored and I’m not affiliated with Nordstrom at all, but there are general affiliate links below! It’s just like my monthly favorites posts… I don’t accept any free fashion/beauty products nor do I ever do sponsored posts for fashion and beauty. This is just something I love to share every year because it’s fun for me, and I want to hear from you. Below I’m sharing my favorite clothing items, shoes, bags, things for babies and kids in general, some home products and all the beauty things I think are worth it. Once Eddie shops it (he always gets some denim + work clothes!) I may add in some of his favorites if you want. I’ll also come back and update this post as the weeks go on! And I’ll give a few details about some of my favorite things.

2022 Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Favorites

CLOTHING

Good American Scuba Blazer. I love all things GA (one of my favorite brands) and scuba material sold me. No wrinkles, hello!

AllSaints Ridley Funnel Neck Sweater. This may be my favorite sweater than I own. I got it in pink at the sale a few years ago, then camel at the sale last year. It is so super pretty and comfortable.

Nordstrom Bare Tank. Adore these. I sleep in them, lounge in them, wear them to get ready.

Nordstrom Moonlight Pajamas. These are basically the only pajamas I will wear – I have raved about them for years and years. I’ve tried the dupes (amazon, target, etc) and they do not compare. These are amazing for yourself or a gift. I gift these a ton at christmas, or for a baby shower, etc.

AllSaints Ribbed Ruana. Grabbing one of these because I will LIVE in this in the winter.

Nordstrom Travel Ruana. I love this cashmere version too.

Zella Blazer Hoodie. Grabbing this because I think it could be super cute. We shall see. I love everything Zella. And it has a hood!

Club Monaco Wool & Leather Coat. I got this coat in the sale two years ago. It is SO pretty and sharp.

Rails Acid Wash Shirt. I have many of these in the blue acid wash. I love them.

Rails Crewneck Sweater.

Natori Contour Bras. Most favorite underwire bra – if I must.

Spanx Faux Leather Leggings. These are always mentioned but they are a winter staple here. Very comfortable and cute too.

Barefoot Dreams Circle Cardigan. I love this cardigan and use it as a winter house robe. I even use it now when the AC is on!

SHOES & BAGS

AllSaints Sahara Boot. I bought the bootie version of this shoe at the sale three years ago. It is SO comfortable. I love that they have this boot now! I will leave in these.

Dolce Vita Sofi Mule. Buying these this year. I love this brand and they are usually very comfortable.

On Cloudflow Running Shoes. Some of my favorite shoes of all time – I wear these daily. I actually have a pair as my work/cooking shoes too. So super supportive.

Adidas Ultraboost Sneakers. My longtime favorites, they ultraboosts, are also in the sale! I’ve worn these for YEARS and buy a pair over and over again. I wear them everyday to cook in the kitchen, wear them to walk or workout or even just with athleisiure. They are like walking on clouds.

Blondo Waterproof Boot. Got these last year and LOVE them. If you live in a cold/wintery/wet climate, these are some of the best shoes. Extremely high quality and still look like new.

Dagne Dover Duffle Bag. I have many of the DD bags and adore them. Fabulous for travel or even to keep in the car.

Beis Weekend Travel Bag. A travel uffle with the zipper on the bottom is my favorite kind.

Longchamp Expandable Tote. This is one of (if not theeee) best travel bags I have. Extremely lightweight, expands easily, and can fit so much stuff.

Black Crossbody Bag. The perfect little black bag.

Aimee Kestenberg Backpack. I bought this last year and LOVE it. I have it in black.

HOME

Aura Digital Frame. I have RAVED about this for months now – it’s been in my monthly favorites over and over. I’ve bought FIVE of these for gifts lately. They are they ultimate parent/grandparent gift too.

Barefoot Dreams In The Wild Throw. It’s worth the hype – these are the only blankets we use in our house and people fight over them. I buy them for gifts every holiday season. It is the best present. I have tried many of the ones that claim to be similar and nothing compares.

Hydroflask Straw Bottle. One of my go-tos. I love the white!

Click and Grow Indoor Garden. I am obsessed with my indoor garden. Right now, it doesn’t matter as much because I have my outdoor herbs. My indoor one is still going through and it is wonderful to have for the other 9 months out of the year.

Wolf Travel Jewelry Case. I got Eddie and Wolf watch case a few years ago and it’s incredible quality. I love this – it would be something you’d have forever.

Great Jones Baking Dish. I have this and love it. The perfect cut corners and super cute too.

Vacay Spinner Suitcase. I can’t get over all the Vacay styles. They are so pretty!

Wood Large Cheese Board. I bought this last year and love how huge it is. It is big! Perfect for entertaining.

Stagg Electric Kettle. Every time I use this you guys ask where it is from. It is SO pretty to have in the kitchen.

Moccamaster Coffee Maker. For some of the best coffee ever.

BEAUTY

T3 Luxe Brush Set. This is one thing I hrabbed during the sale. In desperate need of a new brush over here!

Simple Human Mirror. This is my favorite makeup mirror. I have used it forever. Eddie loves it too.

GHD Styler. I bought this styler last year and LOVE that it can do straight or wavy styles. Perfect for travel too.

Westman Atelier Weekend Set. I’m fully obsessed with WA makeup. This set is wonderful – the Nectar shade is one of my faves and the tinted highlighter is so good for summer.

Good Girl Fragrance Set. One of my all-time favorite perfumes – this is the most warm, delicious scent and I think I read it’s the best selling perfume in the world? I get so many compliments on it. I hate the bottle but adore the fragrance.

Lost Cherry Fragrance Set. Another one I adore – warm, cherry almond – if you like gourmand scents, this one is incredible.

Osea Glow Kit. I am obsessed with this body oil. This is an excellent value!

Augustinus Bader The Rich Cream. The rich cream has been my go-to for years now. I use it at night, under makeup – everything. It is worth the hype for me. I have very dry skin.

Dr Dennis Gross Pro Steamer. I bought this a few years ago at the sephora sale and it’s incredible for at home mini facials. Great gift too.

Supergoop Play Sunscreen Kit. I love this huge pump sunscreen – I have one in our garage or on the patio every summer.

Supergoop Unseen Sunscreen Kit. The unseen feels amazing on the skin. It works great under makeup too.

Jumbo Elemis Cleansing Balm. One of my favorite makeup removes. I always use an oil or balm and anything I can find in jumbo size that I love – I’m in.

54 Thrones Beauty Butter. I discovered this body butter in 2020 and it’s a favorite. I keep one of the small ones in my kitchen at all times. Smells incredible and so hydrating.

Aquis Hair Wrap. I have used these for YEARS. They have been lifesavers for my hair, especially after having kids.

Slip Pillowcase Duo. I have sooo many of these – I’ve slept exclusively on a silk pillowcase for years now (I even travel with one) and while I love the Hill House one best since they have a zipper, these are excellent. Got them for my mom last year too.

Slip Scrunchies. Favorite things. I use these constantly to prevent dents in my hair when I have it pulled up. Also use these for sleep.

Bumble & Bumble Invisible Oil Shampoo Set. This is what I use to wash my hair! I love it and the scent it wonderful.

Gimme Brow Value Set. Forever favorite brow product.

KID STUFF

Doona Car Seat/Stroller. By far my FAVORITE pick of the sale. This is my #1 purchase with my third child. Wish I had it for all three. It makes everyday so much easier. This is 100000% worth it.

Stokke Tripp Trapp Highchair. The best highchair to grow with.

Uppa Baby Vista Stroller. This is our double stroller that we got with Emilia and I’ve always loved it. Super easy to use – we’ve got SO much use out of it. Emilia can still fit in it now, so it will get even more use with Jordan.

Nuna Rava Car Seat. This is our convertible car seat and it’s great. Max was in this (he’s now in the exec seat), Emilia is in it now and Jordan will have it eventually too. It’s also what my mom and Eddie have in their cars – the sale is when we bought hers a few years ago.

Adidas NMD 360 Sneaker. I grabbed these for both Max and Emilia in black and white because I love them to match.

Bogs Waterproof Boot. Trying a new boot this fall for Emilia!

Ugg Sherling Boot. Emilia always gets a pair every fall and I usually get them during the sale. These are some of her faves.

Nike Jogger Sweatpants. These are Max’s favorite.

Cozy Baby Hoodie. The cutest fluff!

Nike Baby Jogger Set. Max loves when Jordan matches him in Nike.

FOOD

Nightingale Ice Cream Sandwiches. Ohhh my gosh. Got these after seeing an IG story by Ashley Spivey and they are so good. The fat banana and strawberry shortcake are delicious. I order them on Goldbelly. They are huge and easy to split or enjoy over a few days!

Mad Minis Ice Cream Sandwiches. Apparently it’s ice cream sandwich month because we discovered these at Target and fell in love. They are the COMPLETE opposite of the above. They are tiny and soft and absolutely addictive. Delicious.

My lemon chicken pasta salad has been on repeat. I have it in the fridge right now and we just love it.

HOME

Hydroflask Cooler Tote. This is my mom cooler tote. I’ve always used one, but it’s been a smaller lunchbox style. That doesn’t work now with three kids, but I still wanted something small, soft, lightweight and moldable (i.e. can it be shoved under a stroller?) and this is it. It is so great – I fill it with fruit, yogurts and anything that needs to stay cool when we go out.

Aura Photo Frame. GUYS!! I have now bought this as a gift for five family members. We can’t get enough. It is so incredible – I got one for Eddie for Father’s Day for his office. I love that I can add to it whenever I want. You add photos on the app and they come up on the frame – it is just such a great gift. I cannot recommend this enough. I know I’ve mentioned it before but it’s worth repeating. Also, I get the vertical one, since that is the orientation of most of my photos.

Golden Coil Notebooks. I absolutely love the golden coil I got a few months ago. The past few years I have used an academic year planner and the options to customize a planner (or notebook!!) here are incredible.

BEAUTY

Tarte Juicy Lip Plump. I’m obsessed with this. These are so glossy and nourishing and soft and pretty! I have three colors and have them on me at all times.

Sephora Pro Powder Brush #50. This is the best bronzing and blush brush. I love it. I’ve had my old Marc Jacobs ones for YEARS and love those (will never get over them discontinuing the makeup line) but these are excellent! So perfectly shaped.

Suntegrity Tinted Sunscreen. I’ve used this for a few months now and just love it. I bought it on a whim when repurchasing some of my Marie Veronique stuff and this is so good! I love the coverage (it’s very light) and it doesn’t migrate into my eyes. I reach for it almost every day.

FASHION

Le Specs Air Heart Sunglasses. I’ve put these in my favorites for four or five years now and I still wear them every day. They are so comfortable and I love the colors they come in now. Definitely my favorite sunglasses of all time.

Espadrille Wedge Sandals. These are SO COMFORTABLE. I can’t even express how comfortable these are. That is what sold me on them – I could wear them for hours and hours. Also very flattering in the summer! It says to size up, and I did go up 1/2 size.

9seed Cover Up. This is my third summer using these and I adore them. They are so lightweight, super pretty and double as a dress. I seriously live in this in the summer months. They are pricey, but I wash mine constantly (air dry) and they hold up great. I also love the Tunisia Caftan.

MEDIA

Every Summer After. This book. I am still thinking about it! I loved it SO much.

The Summer I Turned Pretty. It’s a show on Prime and I can’t get enough. Which is weird, since it’s about teens, but still! It’s so quintessential summer love and I really enjoyed it.

This episode of You’re Wrong About on Martha Stewart is so good.

KIDS

Towel Throw On. My kids have had these in the summer since Max was a toddler and they LOVE them. They are so great for getting out of the pool – after a quick dry, you just throw this on them. It dries them more and keeps them warm. Mine even ask to wear them around the house!

The Uppababy G Luxe Stroller. I had this umbrella stroller with Max and this is the newest version – I LOVE IT. It’s 15lbs, very compact, easy to open and close and great for napping. It’s a lifesaver right now.

Slumberpod. I was really on the fence and thought I’d hate this, but wow – this worked wonders when we traveled. All of us in one hotel room – I am convinced this helped Jordan go to sleep! He is a luckily a great sleeper but now getting old enough to realize if he is in a different spot and this was incredible. Only downside is that I couldn’t get my Nanit monitor to work with it. My regular motorola monitor does work though!

Monda Llama Watercolor Brush Pens. I got these for Max and Emilia and they LOVE them.

A peek at everything I loved in May 2022!

FOOD

Solely Fruit Jerky. I am loving this as a take-along snack and the kids like it too. The mango is so good.

Fresca. This has been the discovery of the summer for me. I wrote about it in my Tuesday Things. This is the best grapefruit seltzer I have found – I find myself craving it. It’s SO delicious and refreshing.

Safe and Fair Birthday Cake Popcorn. Um, this is delicious. Just try it.

My lavender vanilla syrup for iced coffee. I can’t live in the summer without this in my fridge!

HOME

Lemon Pie Candle. This candle smells like wonderful warm lemon cheesecake. It’s also HUGE. Run to Target and see if it’s still in stock. Absolutely heavenly.

Hill House Silk Pillowcase. This is my favorite silk pillowcase. It’s superior to all others! It’s super soft and also has a zipper, which most don’t. I have two that I rotate.

Mallow Me Sticks. Best investment ever if you love s’mores. Perfect for roasting other things too, but I love these and they are easy to clean too. I soak the tips in soapy water.

Ziplock big bags. I am obsessed with these big bags for packing away/giving away kids clothes. Especially the baby stuff. I love that you can see in the bag but it keeps it clean and dry.

BEAUTY

Kitsch satin scrunchies. Can’t believe I’m writing about a scrunchie in 2022 but here we are. In my defense, I’m not wearing it out but I am throwing my hair up in it when it’s dry and I don’t want it to have a crease. This is perfect. It’s so soft and stretchy.

WOW Dreamcoat Spray. I saw this all over IG and got it in a recent sephora sale. OMG. It has changed my hair life. My hair was great without any issues before kids. It’s been a mess ever since! It gets frizzy and dry and it just overall – not the same. This is incredible. You spray it on damp and have to activate it with heat, so you have to blow dry. I swear it makes my hair so smooth and KEEPS it smooth.

Image Skincare Tinted Rose Lipbalm. Another IG find. This smells like bubble gum and is a perfect pink tinted color. It’s so soft. I love wearing it during the day.

FASHION

Align hip length tank. I almost screamed when I saw this online. I live for anything align – it’s so buttery soft and perfectly stretchy. They have had tanks for a while but they’ve all been cropped. Now they have these longer ones and I LOVE them.

Oofas Flip Flops. I wrote about these the last two years but it’s the start of summer so I must mention. These are the best supportive shoes for summer cooking and grilling. They are ugly as can be but incredibly supportive and great if you’re on your feet for a long time.

MEDIA

Book Lovers. This is one of my favorite books of the year so far. I always love Emily Henry’s books but this is the best – maybe because I am an actual book lover?!

GetSorted App. This app if life changing for clearing out the photos on your phone. You only need to do a few a day and you can gradually delete pics. I have over 200k photos (I KNOW!) and it’s super overwhelming. This has helped me SO MUCH. I’ve sorted through thousands and thousands.

My 2022 summer country playlist on spotify. I make one every year and it gets me in such a summer mood!

KIDS

Marvin’s Magic Pens. We are a big art family – some days the kids spend hours doing art. I surprised them with these and they LOVE them. They really are like magic secret pens. I would have lost it over these as a kid.

Whirly Squigz toys. These are one of Jordan’s favorite toys – they are great for travel or eating out too. You can stick them on any glass (like a door/window), on a table and he generally just loves to chew on them too.

Reef Ahi Flip Flops. We get a pair of these for the kids each year and they use them all summer until they are practically falling apart. Such great quality and really comfy for the kids. They love picking out a new pair each year.

A peek at everything I loved in April 2022!

FOOD

Good Culture cottage cheese. I can’t believe I’m writing this because I thought I hated cottage cheese. I’ve been enjoying this for a few months now, but just this week we started putting it on toast with honey and chili oil. It’s life changing. This brand is SO good. It’s not wet or even creamy. It’s like wonderful thick cheese curds that taste like… cheese. I am forever changed. I get mine at Target! And I like the whole milk classic.

Tillamook Chocolate Peanut Butter Ice Cream. Apparently we’re all about the dairy today. Kilwin’s chocolate peanut butter will always be the gold standard for me but WOW – this comes so close. You must try!

Honeymama’s Chocolate Cake Bars. I’m generally not into trying paleo or diet-specific treats, but I tried this chocolate cake cocoa truffle bar and it is such a lovely little treat!

HOME

OXO stainless steel salad spinner. This is the best salad spinner ever. Period. It won’t ever crack!

Aerogarden Bounty. Okay I’ve had this for nearly a month now and love it. It’s a pain in the ass – as in it’s big and I actually have it on my bar cart so it doesn’t take up counter space. And the light is very bright. But everything is growing and actually, the kids are obsessed with checking it out every day! I am so excited to have herbs I want every day!

Kindle charging dock. 80% of the time I use the kindle app on my phone but am trying so hard to use my real kindle so I can get off my phone. I bought this charging dock and love having it right at my bed!

BEAUTY

Skinceuticals UV Defense SPF 50. I’ve used this for a few years when I want a matte-ish tint to my sunscreen. I never use it under makeup or as makeup – I mostly just use it as sunscreen but when I care about having an even skintone. It’s amazing. It goes on so nicely – it is very liquidy – and does give some coverage!

Ilia Lip Wrap Balm. Oooh got this during the sephora sale and am loving it! So moisturizing.

Olaplex No 8 moisture hair mask. I have a mental block against olaplex and have never used the products or felt like I needed them. WELL. This mask has been life changing. I use it once a week and it makes my hair so smooth and silky, but doesn’t weigh it down.

FASHION

Stars Above tie dye pajamas. I adore the stars above line – it is SO soft. These are so cute! Love the colors and they are ridiculously comfortable.

Petal sleeve t shirt. I love this t shirt in black and white. It comes in a ton of colors – but the classics are so good! The sleeves make it so flattering and just super cute – like a little more special than a regular t shirt.

Beek Rhea beach slides. I love a nude slide for summer and whoa – these ones are so comfortable. They may replace my Tory Burch miller flip flops which I have worn for ages + repurchased multiple times!

MEDIA

The Dropout. I mostly loved this because Amanda Seyfried was SO incredible in the role of Elizabeth Holmes. I thought I’d be bored, because I’d listened to the podcasts before. But wow – this was so good.

The Wedding Veil. I technically finished this April 1st so it’s going in April faves! I loved this book so so much. You can read a little more about in my book reviews from last month.

KIDS

Garden Stepping Stones Paint Kit. The kids both got one of these for Easter and they were a huge hit. I also love the idea of keeping these forever! They have so much character.

Lumi Pets Night Light. Emilia is the best sleeper but sometimes gets afraid of the dark. We have many nightlight situations but this is so cute. She loves puppies, and it’s soft and squish-able. Plus she can control it with a remote!

iPlay sun hat.  This is the best sun hat of life. Emilia was still wearing one last summer. It is adjustable, it’s light, it can get wet – it truly is the best.

Slip on soft loafers. I got these for Max for Easter after Lacy recommended them. OMG! They are so soft and comfortable and cute. The soles are adorable. And they come in so many colors.

Today I’m sharing all of my sephora 2020 sale favorites for the spring VIB sale!

sephora spring VIB sale favorites

It’s been a while since I did a dedicated beauty faves post. Mostly because once 2020 hit, I just wasn’t wearing makeup as much and in the last fives years or so, I’ve made a serious switch to skincare over makeup. So many of you have told me this as you’ve gotten older and I can totally relate. I still love makeup and beauty products, but skincare definitely comes first for me at the moment.

If you’ve read any of my recent favorites posts, then you know I had some perioral dermatitis pop up during my pregnancy with Jordan. I struggled on and off with it postpartum too, but with excellent skincare I think I’ve finally got hold over it. I am SO happy with my skin right now. The three main products I’m using are not from sephora, but they are my base skincare and I can’t imagine switching them anytime soon. I’m using the Marie Veronique Barrier Restore Serum, Balancing Toner and Barrier Lipid Complex. These things have done WONDERS for my skin and repaired my skin barrier to the point that I’m enjoying makeup again and using my favorite products.

EVERYTHING below is something I use and love (or have used and loved) – these are all my personal recommendations. I ramble about them too. They probably come as no surprise considering I’ve talked about almost everything before, but here we are! I’d love to hear what you love so I can build out my wishlist!

The main thing: I love to use the VIB sale to stock up on my favorite skincare. I also love it to buy perfume, because you can rarely find that on sale (if ever!) – especially Tom Ford, Jo Malone, Killian, etc.

2022 Sephora Spring 2022 VIB Sale Favorites

SKIN

Augustinus Bader The Rich Cream.

Sobel Skin RX Moisturizing Cream.

Supergoop Glow screen. I still love this sunscreen. I use it both on non-makeup days and under light makeup. It evens out my complexion so much and the glow is incredible. If you don’t like a glow, do NOT get this. Only thing is that if I get it REMOTELY close to my eyes, it migrates into them.

Supergoop Unseen Sunscreen.

FOOD

Goodonya Hydrate. You know how much I love Liquid IV (swear it saved me during pregnancy and postpartum) and I was so excited to try this. It’s like a light slightly coconutty lemonade. It’s delicious. I like that it isn’t as sweet as Liquid IV because sometimes I just don’t want something that sweet. Only downside for usage is that it doesn’t come in single packets, so you always have to measure it out into the water.

These garlic butter fish orzo packets. I have made this so many times this lent season! Can’t get over how much we love this meal. Light and filling at the same time.

Tru Fru Coconut Melts. Last month I raved about the Tru Fru frozen raspberries and strawberries. They are so so good. Now these coconut melts are just insane. The coconut is freeze dried and crunchy. These

HOME

Golden Coil Notebooks. If you haven’t checked these out yet, they are unreal. You can create your own planner or your own notebook. I am obsessed! If you’re a pen and paper person you will lose it over all the layouts. I was like a kid in an online candy store. I created a notebook (seen above) specifically for home/domestic things that include meal planning and home tasks and kids schedules and I love it.

Mrs. Meyer’s Fresh Mint Hand Soap. I live for Mrs Meyers seasonal hand soaps. The mint is SO good. It’s so refreshing and light! Makes hand washing feel special. Ha!

My Nutribullet blender. I’ve mentioned this a lot over the years but I use it most for my homemade salad dressings! To make a vinaigrette I just add all the ingredients in and blend. I also do my homemade ranch and caesar in this. It’s used constantly.

BEAUTY

Ilia Super Serum Skin Tint. I’ve used this for 3 years now and love it. It’s light but gives me great coverage. It’s very thin and also easy to apply with hands or a beauty blender (I use both) and also easy to mix with liquid highlighter.

Osea Body Oil. I know this is a repeat but gosh I love this stuff. It just smells SO good. It has a pump! It’s so easy to use. I use it after every shower and it’s wonderful. Not oily or greasy at all.

Summer Fridays Lip Butter Balm. This smells like a light cupcake (not sicknely sweet) and lasts so well on my lips. I get the regular vanilla one. Super moisturizing. The kids love it too!

FASHION

Align Leggings with Pockets. Align pants have been my work (and now life, after 2020?) uniform for ten years but I’d never tried the ones with pockets. They are life changing. I really need a place to stash my phone when I’m carrying Jordan and a water, etc. They are perfect.

Negative Whipped Bras. Um these are incredible and feel like you are wearing nothing. I love them so much. They aren’t crazy supportive but I’m nursing and still really love them for around the house/easy wear. Obsessed with them.

These white + unicorn bottom Adidas Ultraboosts sold me on getting a new pair. You may remember that ultraboosts were my favorite sneaker for YEARS!! and I still really do love them. They are so incredibly comfortable. I could not resist these ones.

MEDIA

The Adam Project. This movie is on Netflix and I can’t believe how much I loved it. It’s about time travel and such a good story. Amazing cast too: Jennifer Garner, Zoe Saldana, Mark Ruffalo, Ryan Reynolds!

528HZ positive energy on spotify. I heard about this on the skinny confidential him & her podcast and I am hooked. It is very relaxing yoga-like music (reminds me very much of the music from my past hot yoga days!) and I’ve been putting it on at night. I put it on in Jordan’s room too while we’re getting ready and he seems to love it.

The Unsinkable Greta James. Got this in my book of the month box and loved it so much!

KIDS

Eggmazing Egg Decorator. We love decorating easter eggs and this is so fun (and mess free!) for the kids to do on their own. We will still dye eggs traditionally, but this is a super fun option they love to do too.

Paint Your Own Stepping Stone. My kids love everything art and painting. They enjoyed this so so much and it’s super cute too! I also got them the bunny for easter.

Grabease utensils. Jordan doesn’t love spoons and when he use the long baby spoons right now, he ends up gagging himself with them. These are so great!

ezpz Tiny Cup. On that same note, I got these cups for Jordan and they perfect for him learning to drink from a cup. They are soft silicone and weighted at the bottom too.
