I love September.

Halloween PJ season is here!

We had a busy week. I can’t believe how busy the weeks get once kids are in school and activities. It’s kind of new since the last 2-3 years weren’t normal and before that, Max was in preschool.

School line fun.

Tuesday was Eddie’s birthday, so on Monday afternoon the kids made him a cake.

An oreo cake!

They were super proud of it!

So many pretty sunsets last week.

Look at this fun hair for gymnastics!

My little old man.

Worst picture ever but I made Eddie his favorite chicken pot pie for his birthday!

Max was so hungry after hockey though that he scarfed pizza in the parking lot.

Emilia’s doing some learn-to-skate lessons and can we just agree that this is the best outfit ever.

Then we came home and sang happy birthday!

Wednesday morning Emilia spied the most gorgeous rainbow out the window as we were driving to school.

So gorgeous!

The rest of the day looked like this though.

A peek at the kids’ cake!

These pink pumpkins are my favorite color palette for fall.

This cocktail had a campari ice cube. It was so good.

I love how much she loves color.

Super proud of this friendship bracelet she made in school.

She went with Eddie to grab more pumpkins and she’s the best helper.

Max’s new hockey season has started!

Meanwhile the third child is eating plastic tubs of cream cheese in Trader Joe’s…

And still enjoys eating like this.

Eddie’s front yard decor!

This morning Emilia set up a “movie theater” in the foyer. She even put popcorn in that paper cup.

My heart might explode.

Then these two went to the baseball game with Eddie! They’ve had tickets forever and the game kept getting rained out… today almost did too.

But they made it and it brightened up mid-day!

Game balls!

Into a new week we go…

Another week in the books!

I can’t believe they are all mine!

This is her “favorite shirt.”

I love waiting in the school line with her. She is so funny.

Early morning legos before school. Like 6:30 legos.

This baby!!

Whyyyy is he so big.

Post nap snuggles. I can’t even handle it! Also, please note the “flag banner” Max made of all sorts of flags and taped (!!!) them to the wall after stringing them on kitchen twine. Honestly there are pictures the kids colored taped all over the house. Anyone else?!

Hello, I could eat her up.

We had the most beautiful weather last week!

Socks.

See? Another school morning.

Made some stuffed shells.

Living on the edge with this car coffee.

Early morning bubble boy.

She reeeeeally wanted to wear my barefoot dreams cardigan. Ha.

We made cookies!

Went to the park.

Always smiley.

My favorite girl!

Lunchtime at tako.

Having five eaters now is crazy.

She lives for guac.

Best little bro helpers!!

We finally got a Jeni’s!

Approved all around.

So delish.

I think he liked it.

Look at that fresh early morning ice!

He is always up to mischief with his sister.

Favorite food.

Very intrigued by his shadow.

Britney vibes? All weekend he has been taking this stuffed snack and wrapping it around his shoulders. It’s hilarious.

Pumpkin muffins to start a new week!

Also, why is my baby huge?

We’re still very into wearing things on our head. This sheer scarf that came in a lovevery box is his current favorite.

You know I hate messy kid eating photos but this… he eats like this 90% of the time. Feet up.

I was craving a vinegar slaw so I made pulled pork to have a vehicle for it. This is what happens when you recipes constantly all week.

Here’s a sneak peek at my new kitchen window. Eeeep!

I love this little hockey boy.

Demanded a bike helmet like his siblings.

This burrata thing was not impressive. The roasted red peppers were the best part.

“Organizing.” Every parents nightmare. P.S. the box is already an organizer.

In a weird turn events, school was cancelled for half the week due to an issue with the water line! It kind of gave me 2020 vibes except back then, I only had one kid in preschool so we weren’t as affected as others.

Oh! Emilia also started some skating lessons this week with her BFF! I had no idea how she would do. Max got on skates at 2! She is 4 and this was her first time on the ice. She did so well.

Bath time baby.

We took the kids over to the new house for a bit and they were verrrry excited to see it. Also please note Emilia’s different colored shoes.

She said “take a picture of me upside down mama.”

Gymnastics girl. She is loving it.

Her form is so naturally good, I don’t even know how!

Very into talking to everyone at the tables around us at lunch.

His favorite hobby!

Have a lovely new week!

The kids started school this week, but first, some last summer fun…

One more splash pad visit!

I made garlic confit – it’s in everyday dinners!

We had school meet and greet and got caught in the rain on the way there!

I made my bruschetta chicken.

House salad always.

Max’s favorite game. We played one night after Emilia and Jordan went to bed.

Night before school pampering!

The it was the first day!

I can’t even handle them.

My favorite girl!!

First day called for the first pumpkin cream cold brew of the season.

Last year we started a make-your-own pizza night tradition on the first day of school.

It’s one of their favorite meals, of course!

At one point I caught her laying on the couch looking like she was 16. Too cute.

My favorite sight to see.

Emilia kept saying we couldn’t get this because “dada would think it’s waaaay too freaky.”

I made a version of the tiktok salmon bowls one night.

Jordan was very into the seaweed.

This is her favorite shirt.

Saturday morning, they were very into rainbows.

Max loves the ROYGBIV order.

We’re still into dress up over here!

And chopping our own fruit.

And wearing anything on our heads!

It was such a good week! Poor Jordan doesn’t get why the house is so quiet though.

Neither do I. Can’t they stay with me forever?!?!?

The kids so badly want Jordan to stand for a picture with them and he just runs away every time.

Signs of fall!

Hello.

Very excited to be wearing butterfly clips in her hair.

This boy.

He is a riot.

Back to school pool party with friends!

The kids were so excited to night swim.

Remember like 20 months ago when I told you we were building a house?

Eeeep.

Morning makeup.

Just chilling like this.

Dinner at pusadees.

All went well until there was a worm in our salad.

More swimming to round out the weekend!

And perfect caprese.

She.is.so.fun.

Hahaha.

Jordan’s CURLS!!!

They are perfect.

Baby Cooper cuddling up to Emilia!! Not so baby anymore…

Last weekend before school = ice cream.

Yesssss.

His tucked in shirt and hat and shoes. I can’t!

More marinated tomatoes for dinner.

Max and Emilia requested filet and grilled asparagus for their last weekend meal before school.

Corn of course!

Just a little excited.

So much corn.

Everyone loves it though!

Have a great week!

We had another regular old week of summer over here!

We’re going into our last official week of the summer now and I have all the emotions.

I made my panzanella a few times.

This car wash was the most relaxing part of my week. Ha!

Jordan discovered these headphones of Max’s and he loves them. If he sees them, he wants them on his head. He will walk around with them on for 15 or 20 minutes. It is hilarious.

Crumbl tasting. I’m still not a huge fan.

Pirate game!

Learning how to open all the things while I cook dinner.

I love this action shot of Max!

This is what I woke up to on Friday. I have never had a flat tire in my life… in the last three months I’ve had FOUR. WHY HOW WHAT.

These last few days of summer watching them play together and have so much fun… warms my heart. I know it will change once school starts because they won’t have as much time. It’s just so sweet though.

Marinating all the tomatoes.

Eddie captured this crazy picture of a hawk on his run.

Dinner!

They call this their “please face.” When they are begging for something.

More roasted garlic this week.

I made crispy crunchy zucchini today!

Then Jordan found his headphones again/

He’s such a little love chunk!

Another week in the books!

This week was all about getting back in the swing of things after vacation and getting a few things ready for the school year.

Very into wearing hats because she wants to do everything Max does.

Same!

Jordan begs for this hat to be put on his head backwards everyday. He wears it for a long time too! It’s hilarious.

Love bugs.

I made a big batch of my egg salad.

We “did makeup.”

She told me she is rainbow dash from my little pony!

Roasted some garlic one day.

And made roasted garlic butter!

Grilled potatoes for my gorgonzola potatoes.

And grilled lots of asparagus too. This is one of the kids’ favorites.

Had to finish things off with s’more to make it feel like vacation again.

Emilia woke Max up one morning begging him to build this lego for her.

Eddie and I saw Billy Joel!!

I got this ridiculously overpriced terrible margarita and I don’t know why.

The night was GORGEOUS. It was like 65 degrees with a stunning sunset. It was actually cool too.

The concert was good. This is the third concert we’ve been to in nine months which is hilarious because we are not concert people at all. I think being stuck inside for so long made us lose our minds. But Eddie has always wanted to see Billy Joel so we crossed it off the bucket list.

Marinated tomato season!!

And made a delicious dinner tonight with all the summer produce.

I can’t believe we’re coming to the finish line for summer break.

How are these lovebugs mine!?!?!

One last peach cobbler for summer – pretty sure it’s the end of the good peaches for us here.

Another week in our favorite place!

We had amazing weather for our vacation last week in Boyne City! We had two cloudy-with-some-rain days but it was actually perfect – they broke up the super long beach days.

Brother love.

Jordan thought this was the funniest thing on earth.

Best girl!

Yacht club Jordan in this outfit, right?

Just matching the exterior for lunch.

Searching for petoskey stones.

Demanding he be chased everywhere!

This is the life.

So is this.

And this!

Rain out over the lake.

S’mores ready.

Rainy days make the best sunsets.

No filter!!!

And the next morning is even better.

I took the same photo last year.

Breakfast of champions.

Emilia still calls whipped cream “shaving cream” in case you were wondering.

Caught one!

And Emilia too.

Max spent all day in the sand “building Cairo.”

Cousin love.

I gave this baby a waffle fry.

Kilwin’s cake batter. Chocolate PB is still my fave.

I cannot with these teeth and the gap.

Matching for life!

One more cloudy day.

Still so gorgeous though.

And windy!

How are these babies mine!

One of my favorite sights.

Loves a swing.

Also just needed to take a break for a minute, haha.

Early morning strolls are the best.

Smiling but very sad it’s our last day!

Cutest cousin babies.

More building for hours.

And the perfect day! Look at that sparkle water.

This trampoline is a blast.

And that’s a wrap on the trip!

Back home with all the snuggles.

Hello from my favorite place!

When the week ends here, it can’t be bad. Here’s how it started…

Max had golf camp.

Jordan ate a lime.

And helped with the laundry.

Emilia loved going to Max’s golf so she could play on this bridge.

I printed out my banana bread recipe and Max made it himself.

Then at the end of the week, we left for vacation!

Road trip! Also can I just tell you that Max tucking in his shirt is my favorite thing of life

Jordan was… not the most pleasant traveler! Oh well, it was bound to happen after 3 kids, right?

Then we made it to Michigan!

Met up with cousins!

Scoot scoot.

Got ice cream.

Threw rocks in the lake.

Had so much fun! Please note Emilia’s outfit.

This entire weekend has been so gorgeous.

Walking in the morning is our fave.

Went to our favorite farmer’s market too.

Sat on the beach and ate all the snacks.

Cutest boy.

Someone loves the water!

Happy happy.

Caught big fish!

Made s’mores. I have an almost identical pic from her last year!

The home of my favorite sunsets.

This chai tea latte… omg.

Baguettes for the win.

Cuties.

This water is just so gorgeous!

Max lives for a tortilla chip.

Pit stop for lunch.

With all the tacos.

These girls are having so much fun!

Swim party with Uncle Will.

Today was so nice.

We brought the cutest vacation cookies from my friend Micah.

They are so pretty.

Ending with the prettiest!

All the heart eyes here.

Siblings.

Emilia calls the steps the white water.

Look at Jordan’s curls!

Baby Coop with her nectarine!! I can’t even handle it.

Water table cousin fun.

We swam the next day too and this was Emilia’s response to “I don’t need a nap.”

She is my style icon.

Rainbow tattoos for the win.

I had to get a new tire. Fun!

AND my computer died too. What a week.

This hockey view.

Someone had the giggles.

I loved this red outfit that Max put together. Even if it made Eddie crazy because he mixed Nike, Adidas and UA.

Then he asked to pose, ha! I may frame this.

Happy Sunday from us!
