Pumpkin pecan pie bars are made with a homemade sugar-cookie crust, pumpkin filling and a pecan streusel topping for one fantastic Thanksgiving dessert. Recipe includes a gluten-free option.

If there’s one thing we love about Thanksgiving, it’s all of the desserts.

In our family, we like to have a mix of some traditional pies, such as classic pecan pie, and less-traditional favorites, such as pumpkin cheesecake or pumpkin cream cheese pie

This recipe for pumpkin pecan pie bars is one that comes from my friend Erin over at Texanerin Baking. She shared the recipe with us several years ago and I was recently reminded at how much I love these bars.

I mean, combining two classic Thanksgiving pies into one delicious bar dessert? That’s a hard combo to beat.

Caramel apple cinnamon rolls are everything you love about crisp autumn nights at the carnival – in breakfast form. Imagine waking the whole family up to these gorgeous sweet rolls!

Fall, fall, fall! It’s finally fall, though Ohio can’t seem to decide between crisp fall weather or hot late-summer weather.

I can’t even with that, so I’m ignoring it entirely and focusing on my favorite fall flavors instead.

Like these caramel apple cinnamon rolls. I first made these when Elle was a toddler, and she was a BIG fan. She loved picking out the sweet, soft baked apple pieces and eating them first.

If you love getting a sweet, sticky caramel apple or a hot caramel apple cider at the fall carnival as much as I do, these caramel apple cinnamon rolls are a MUST for breakfast this weekend!

Yes, you read that right! Make the easiest quick bread of your life with this 2-ingredient pumpkin bread recipe. Kids and adults alike will love making this cozy fall bread.

Close up of sliced 2-ingredient pumpkin bread on a piece of parchment.

Every once in a while I come across a recipe that is so easy I feel almost silly sharing it.

Recipes like my ridiculously simple chocolate crinkle cookies, chocolate-covered marshmallows, or easy peach cobbler feel like they’re so easy to make, you don’t really need me to share a recipe for them, right?

But every time, you guys prove me wrong. Sure, there are plenty of you who prefer from-scratch recipes. And I have tons and tons of those!

But there are also a bunch of you who love these super easy shortcut recipes. They’re great for kids or beginner bakers or for anyone who is short on time but needs to whip up something fast.

This 2-ingredient pumpkin bread is definitely one of those recipes. It is one of the easiest recipes you can make, and it’s a great trick to have up your sleeve this fall!

Made with a sheet of puff pastry, a crisp apple, and just the right amount of spices, this puff pastry apple tart is an easy autumn dessert that’s delicious and elegant enough to serve to guests.

Two plated slices of puff pastry apple tart topped with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and salted caramel sauce.

I know we’re only a few days into September and still have Halloween ahead of us, but I’m already thinking about the fact that the holiday season is coming up fast.

Even if you want to ignore that it’ll be Thanksgiving before we know it, there are lots of fall get-togethers and game days and all kinds of times when you’ll probably be entertaining guests.

When I have guests over, I really appreciate recipes that are easy to make but look impressive. Things like marinated cheese, apple butter brie bites, mini pumpkin pies, and this puff pastry apple tart.

Made with crushed pineapple, shredded zucchini, coconut, and a tangy cream cheese frosting, this pineapple zucchini cake is a moist, flavorful cake that is perfect for the end of summer.

This is the time of year where my gardening friends and family start to show up with extra zucchini, begging me to take it off their hands. Which is why I have quite the collection of zucchini recipes that I’ve created over the years.

One thing I love is a good zucchini cake. I’ve made a bunch of variations, including chocolate zucchini cake, lemon zucchini cake, and a zucchini cake with maple cream cheese frosting

This pineapple zucchini cake is a big favorite. Pineapple and zucchini were meant to go together, and when you add a tangy cream cheese frosting? Totally perfect.

Packed with fresh raspberries and bright lemon, these lemon raspberry muffins are a bite of sunshine any time of year.

Three lemon raspberry muffins on a white plate. The muffin in front in lying on its side.

Muffins are one of my favorite ways to enjoy seasonal flavors and ingredients.

In the fall, I’m all about apple cider donut muffins, pumpkin muffins, and apple cinnamon muffins

In the spring, I can’t get enough of strawberry banana muffins and lemon poppy seed muffins.

And this time of year, I’m making batches of zucchini muffins and these lemon raspberry muffins on repeat.

Sometimes I will store them in the freezer to enjoy in a few months when fresh raspberries are no longer in season, and sometimes I just bake them to share with my neighbors.

Either way, you can’t go wrong with these bright, beautiful raspberry muffins.

Layers of cake, rich vanilla pudding, and juicy strawberries make for a delicious and impressive no-bake dessert. Anyone who loves strawberry shortcake will be a fan of this easy strawberry trifle!

Close up of strawberry trifle layered in a trifle dish.

If you’re in my generation, there’s a certain 90s/early 2000s TV show that you probably think of when you hear the word “trifle.”

Listen, I do agree with Joey that all of the things that were in Rachel’s Thanksgiving trifle are good, but you won’t catch me eating them all together in the same dish, ok? Luckily, we can make a much better trifle ourselves.

I love making trifles because they are so easy but look so fancy! My brownie trifle is a big hit any time of year. I’ve also made ambrosia trifles at Easter and even pumpkin trifles during the fall.

My homemade banana pudding isn’t exactly a trifle, but it is beautiful when served up in a trifle dish. So we can let it into the trifle club.

This time we are making a fresh strawberry trifle. It’s a no-bake beauty that is perfect for summer gatherings or as a centerpiece for any holiday dessert table.

Glazed lemon cookies are packed with lemon zest and lemon juice in both the cookie dough and the glaze. These big, chewy cookies are the perfect balance of sweet and tart.

Three glazed lemon cookies stacked on a plate and topped with a halved cookie.

I don’t need to tell you about my love for lemon again, do I?

Whether it’s mini lemon cheesecakes, lemon poppy seed scones, or my favorite homemade lemon bars, if you put chocolate and lemon in front of me and ask me to choose, I’m most likely gonna pick the lemon every time.

So when I saw Sarah Rae Vargas make some big lemon cookies on her Instagram, I was in the kitchen almost immediately playing around with the recipe.

These glazed lemon cookies are big, chewy, and the best mixture of sweet and a bit tart. I can’t get enough of them!

With a crisp tart shell, vanilla filling, and fresh fruit topping, these mini fruit tarts are as delicious as they are beautiful.

Close up of 3 mini fruit tarts at the top of a tiered dessert plate.

Long-time MBA readers know how much I love mini desserts. I have made all kinds of mini cheesecakes, mini bundt cakes, and even mini cinnamon rolls over the years.

These mini fruit tarts are my newest mini dessert love affair. With the buttery tart shell, luscious vanilla pudding, and bright, fresh fruit, they are a whole lot of goodness in a single bite (or two).

Since I made these during the summer I was able to use a whole variety of my favorite fruits, but I can’t wait to try a berry version, a tropical fruit version, and even a citrusy version during the winter months.

It’s like having multiple recipes all in one!

Fluffy, flavorful, and bursting with fresh blueberries in every bite, these homemade blueberry pancakes are the very best way to start your day.

Syrup being poured over a stack of blueberry pancakes on a white plate.

Pancakes are one of the very best ways to start the day. My family loves digging into a big stack of fluffy pancakes on a Saturday or Sunday morning.

Some weekends I throw together a simple batch of bisquick pancakes. Other times I’ll whip up banana pancakes or pumpkin pancakes.

But during the summer, there is nothing much better than blueberry pancakes.
