Thanksgiving is just a couple of weeks away, which means we have plenty of time to squeeze in one last pumpkin recipe before we start thinking ahead to cranberry recipes and peppermint recipes, right?

Anyone who has ever hosted Thanksgiving can tell you that deciding what to make for dessert is a big deal.In my family, we have to have pumpkin cheesecake and my Nana’s pumpkin roll. I have friends who absolutely must have a slice of classic pecan piesweet potato pie, or homemade cherry pie.

But this year I think we should all consider branching out and including this gorgeous pumpkin trifle on our dessert tables. It’s easy to make, is make-ahead friendly, and is absolutely delicious.

Rotisserie chicken, orzo, and veggies are paired with a bright, lemony broth in this lemon chicken orzo soup. This easy soup will add a bit of brightness to a cold, dreary day.

Two bowls filled with lemon chicken orzo soup next to spoons on a countertop.

It’s soup season!

Every year I get excited for colder weather because it means I can bust out my soup pot and make one of my very favorite foods: soup!

Whether it’s a cheesy loaded baked potato soup, a hearty beef and barley stew, or my low carb zuppa toscana, I love them ALL.

This lemon chicken orzo soup is one that adds a little bit of sunshine into a gloomy fall or winter day. It’s loaded with chicken, veggies, and plenty of lemon and dill for tons and tons of flavor.

As an added bonus, it comes together pretty quickly, so it’s a great recipe to make on a weeknight when you’re low on time and energy.

Even though it’s nearly Halloween and Thanksgiving and Christmas are right around the corner, I’m not ready to let go of fall yet.

It’s been an unseasonably warm fall here, so even though I’m glad it probably won’t be snowing for trick-or-treating tomorrow, I am hoping we get some more crisp fall days before we head on into the holiday season and winter.

So even while I’m already planning out Christmas cookie recipes for you all, I’m still going to hold onto pumpkin recipes for a tiny bit longer.

That means making at least 1 or 2 more batches of these pumpkin cream cheese muffins before we head into all things cranberry and peppermint.

After all, there’s not much better than pumpkin paired with cream cheese! Give me a pumpkin cream cheese piepumpkin cream cheese danish, or one of these muffins and I’m a happy lady.

Chocolate chip pumpkin bread is loaded with warm spices, pumpkin and – of course – chocolate chips! This delicious recipe will become a family favorite in no time.

Several slices of chocolate chip pumpkin bread scattered on a piece of parchment paper next to a pumpkin.

I am a big fan of recipes that you can bake and share with others.

Cookie recipes are an obvious one, but I also love sharing baked goods like zucchini muffins and glazed apple scones and saltine toffee

Quick breads that make 2 loaves are also perfect for sharing. It’s easy to keep one loaf for your family to enjoy and wrap up the second one for a friend or neighbor or your kiddo’s teacher.

If you love the combination of tart, crisp apples and sweet, sticky caramel, making homemade caramel apples is a must! Keep these delicious treats simple or add your favorite toppings to make them your own.

Caramel apples and bowls of assorted topping arranged on a countertop.

Oh man. Caramel apples. What. a. treat. Every time there’s a fair during the fall, these babies show up and make my freakin’ day.

I love, love, love them so much. It’s kind of silly how much. When we go to Disney World, I love checking out all their super cool creations, especially the adorable ones with Oreos for Mickey ears.

As much as I love getting caramel apples at the carnival or apple orchard, I love making them at home, too. After all, when you have a kiddo who is ALL about Halloween, it’s an extra-fun activity to do together as a family.

If you’ve never made homemade caramel apples before, you’re going to be shocked at how simple they actually are. All you need are a few ingredients and you’re on your way.

Plus, you can add any of your favorite toppings, so it’s a great chance to go all out and make the indulgent apple of your dreams!

These are a fantastic addition to a Halloween party, right alongside brownie dirt pudding cupsHalloween rice krispie treats, a Halloween dessert board, and Halloween popcorn balls.

Perfectly spiced, moist pumpkin cake is topped with tangy cream cheese frosting for an easy and delicious dessert that’s as perfect for a weeknight as it is for your Thanksgiving table.

Plated slices of pumpkin sheet cake topped with cream cheese frosting.

I love a dessert recipe that can pull double duty. Like, an easy recipe that you can throw together on a weeknight that’s also delicious enough to serve to company or for your Thanksgiving dessert.

My pumpkin pecan pie barspuff pastry apple tart, and apple butter cake are all examples of these kinds of recipes.

This pumpkin cake with cream cheese frosting also fits that bill.

Tender scones are studded with pieces of fresh apple and topped with a spiced vanilla glaze. These apple scones are a delightful fall breakfast or afternoon snack.

Glazed apple scones cooling on a wire rack.

This time of year, I’m a big fan of apples for breakfast.

Sometimes I get fancy and make things like caramel apple cinnamon rolls or apple cider donuts. Other times, it’s as simple as spreading some of my slow cooker apple butter on a piece of toast and shoving that in my mouth while I get the kids ready in the morning.

These glazed apple scones fall somewhere in the middle. They’re pretty easy to make, but scones always seem fancy, don’t they?

I’ll be snacking on these perfectly spiced scones all autumn long – right until it’s time for cranberry orange scone season!

Sweet and perfectly spiced pumpkin coffee syrup is a delicious way to dress up your coffee right at home. But don’t stop there! This luscious syrup is equally amazing on pancakes and waffles, drizzled over ice cream, or as a topping for cheesecake.

Pumpkin coffee syrup being poured into a glass of iced coffee.

TikTok got me yet again with this one, but I can’t even be mad about it because this stuff is so good.

A couple weeks ago, Stephie sent me a TikTok of someone making an amazing-sounding pumpkin marshmallow coffee syrup. She knows how much I love a Starbucks-at-home kind of moment, and she was right that I was gonna flip for this recipe.

I tracked the recipe back to its original creator, The Thrift Witch, and gave it a try pretty much the next day.

I’m basically obsessed with it. It’s my new favorite way to dress up my iced shaken espressos, and I might have spent some time drizzling it over basically every dessert I’ve eaten.

If you are the type that spends a lot of time at the coffee shop every fall because you’re a pumpkin spice latte person, this pumpkin coffee syrup is one you need to make immediately.

No fall is complete without taking my girls apple picking at least once. We bring home bags of fresh, crisp apples and then get to decide what recipes we’re going to make with them.

There’s always a batch or two of crockpot applesauce, at least one homemade apple cake, and at least a couple breakfasts that are made extra special with these sautéed apples.

After all, what better way to wake up than to the smell of warm cinnamon apples floating through the house?
