We had a busy week!!

Finishing off today with our annual Memorial Day activities.

Let’s backtrack though! Some playground fun.

My baby.

And big girl.

Max got to participate in the May crowning at school.

We also had fun day/field day at school and the weather was gorgeous!

Sweetest!

Max’s current read… hahaha.

Jordan is obsessed with Emilia setting up this “bed” for him to watch a movie.

Baby bringing me flowers at baseball.

Buttercups!

Tball is winding down…

There is a lot of playing in the dirt, haha. Pretty sure she’s done with it this year.

Still the cutest.

Why yes, baseball games are also small photoshoots for me.

Still very into makeup.

Said she made blue “tiger stripes.”

Parent teacher conference led by Max!

His self portrait.

I love her art!

Just got a few herbs this year.

Loves.

Ice cream after the game.

We’ve had the most gorgeous weather all week!

My little turtle in his half shell.

Favorite place is outside.

Not sure why we’re kissing chalk but here we are!

Prepping my grilled vegetable orzo.

He is obsessed with baseball.

Matching summer PJ time!

My whole heart.

More park adventures.

Then it was parade time!

Hi I am eight years old.

Cutest cousins.

The only pic I got of our amazing spread today!

Baby Cooper not so baby anymore!!

Two seconds before he smashed me with this water balloon.

I got them!!

Can you tell we like neon?

Emilia’s “funny picture” request to finish the weekend! xo

We had such a wonderful week!!

That ended with Max making his first communion yesterday! How is he this big!

My chive blossoms are in full bloom.

Baby in a bathrobe!

Baseball for Max.

Two little buddies who play in the dirt and rocks the entire time.

Baseball for Emilia too.

Max asked if he could help, so he was a base coach and this may be my most favorite picture of life!

I mean!

Peony season forever.

Playing piano at grandma’s.

This outfit!

She loves to take “funny” pictures too.

Browsing the toy aisle in Target together.

Then it was Max’s first communion!

It poured rain the entire day! Also, he is her life. She adores him.

SO glad we had another reason to wear our easter dress!

She (and Jordan) colored for most of the mass – she is so helpful with him.

Max was so nervous, it was adorable.

Annnnd then we celebrated.

Just a little carbcation.

Max was very into reading his new bible.

I think this is the only photo I got of Jordan the entire day! He was running around like a wild man. This is my niece Violet. She is the sweetest!

Then we lounged the rest of the day!

And finished the weekend with lots of baseball and leftovers.

It’s peony season!

This little babe got the game ball at her game last week. My favorite girl ever.

And can I just say how much I love my little book worm? Even if he did read during her game.

This one just snacks!

I made these caramelized onion and kale omelets one day last week. OMG yum.

A few little off season hockey sessions.

I can’t handle them.

Spring!

We had a lovely little weekend.

How gorgeous?!

And Mother’s Day was all about baseball today.

But first, Jordan walking to give me this gift.

I mean… !

Such a proud little bug.

It’s so fun watching Max play right now!

And it was a hot one.

Eeeep.

Emilia is the best. Reapplying Jordan’s sunscreen like the best helper she is.

Veggie straw face.

More beauts.

And that’s a wrap on the week! xo

May is a crazy month at school and our week had lots of activities.

I really don’t know what he is going to do without Emilia next year during school hours!!

Best buds.

Here’s the cake that they made from last week!!

Blurry but LOOK AT THE CURLS!

Hockey stick taping school.

Emilia and I went to finalize some carpet for the new house! Umm she wants all animal print and zip zags. My child.

We had so much baseball this weekend for both kids!

Doesn’t matter what toys you bring, all you need is rocks.

My baby!

Max is at such a fun age to watch.

And Emilia still cheers loud for him like she did when she was two.

Then it was her turn!

Snacks and toys, the whole time.

This girl is my dream.

Max passed out between couch cushions and I couldn’t even find him.

I got to snuggle my baby niece!

I mean… I would like 50 babies please.

Back for more. This time, dirty and sweaty.

Can you see the ball!

How is he this big?!

More rocks. Only rocks.

Oh and dirt.

Jordan loving cereal and milk is the cutest thing.

Eddie also found Max’s old lightning mcqueen hat, and Jordan is now obsessed so he was pumped!

And then Max proceeded to push Jordan around in this container for an hour, while he laughed hysterically. It was so cute. Best boys!

Library buddies.

Dinner prep!

Legos for life.

He was teaching her how “to play football” after school.

Braids braids braids.

This sweet baby boy!

This old baby boy! Like how?

He looks so much like Eddie here.

LOOK at the curls! Also, this entire post is going to be about hair.

I mean, they are blowing in the wind.

More hair talk: Emilia finally got a much needed haircut!

She was so excited and we spent the entire morning together because I got my hair cut too.

Five inches gone! So clean and fresh. Remember when she didn’t have any hair until she was almost three?!

The boys had a boys day at home.

I will be stunned if Emilia doesn’t end up working with animals when she is older.

The best part of this age gap? Max reads him so many books.

His favorite thing to do: go “ahhhside.”

These two made our amazing nanny a birthday cake for tomorrow – all by themselves! (Look at how much Emilia adores him.)

Rainbow chip for the win! We can’t wait for this tomorrow!

She puts these on and has legit conversations with me.

Doesn’t he look like a little turtle in his shell?

These babies are my favorite.

I just CANNOT WITH THE CURLS!! I mean GUYS!!!

This outfit is from last summer and I’m so glad it fits because it’s one of my faves.

Found on my phone tonight. Nice.

Testing some sprinkle cookies.

And then guess what!! My brother and SIL had their first baby!! LOOK AT HER!! Her name is Lucy Catherine.

Emilia had her first tball game.

Tball might just be… the most boring thing ever. Am I right?

Jordy looking like a little old man.

Max has his first game next weekend.

We went and saw our school play!

And I got to snuggle my new niece.

I made my lactation cookies for my SIL and they are just the best cookies ever. Over 5000 5-star reviews.

Max and I went back and had a little mama-max night to see the school play again.

Jordan is still obsessed with his boots. Do you guys remember when Emilia was?!

We built lots of legos. Emilia is such a pro now!

Max got a haircut.

And he made Jordan laugh hysterically for at least 30 minutes.

We did some rainbow loom bracelets.

And I went back for more baby snugs!! Look at the smile!

Bath time is his fave.

And we’re ready for a new week!

Spring!!

My favorite thing to see, ever. Max loves reading and it makes me so happy.

The kids got new rain boots this week and Jordan refuses to take them off.

It turned into SUMMER this week!! In the 80s! Nice but I wish we had a real spring.

Ugh then we got hit with a stomach bug. Just Jordan and Emilia and thankfully it was only about 12 hours long.

Perked up by the end of the week for baseball!

Ummm THE MULLET CURLS COMING OUT OF THE HAT!!!!

He absolutely could not stand that she was out there and he was with me.

Emilia picked this outfit out and I just cannot. Best style ever.

Speaking of style, hello lisa frank PJs.

She helped me fold laundry while Max and Eddie were at baseball.

This weekend we had my niece’s birthday party!

Elsa came and it was so cute. I swear Max was there but I somehow have no photos of him.

Oh, except for this. Does this scream “I’m 8 years old’ or what? He was a little embarrassed and felt “too old” for Elsa, but didn’t want to miss her show. So he watched from UNDER A CHAIR! Hahahaha.

Funfetti for life.

And this boy… oh my.

I never want them to grow up!

Happy Easter!!

Oh how I love these little munchkins. They make every holiday so so fun.

We did lots of egg decorating this week. The eggmazing is a huge hit in our house.

Fun at the park!

This was our date night at hockey. Ha.

We had the rainiest days ever.

Made my cool whip dyed eggs!

We also went to see the new super mario bros movie with friends!! Jordan LOVED sitting through it.

The kids had so much fun!

Then we decorated more eggs.

The kids are pros.

Jordy was into it too!

His.curls.

Max decorated most of his eggmazing eggs different country flags.

The key to getting colors this deep is to leave them in the dye… forever. Like an hour.

So fun!

Both tball and baseball started this week for Max and Emilia! Eddie helps coach so he always takes Max, and I always take Emilia. Again, something that’s at the same time for both kids. Whomp whomp.

More hockey practice too!!

These two and I went to a birthday party yesterday.

How cute is this?!

Jordan loves a bahhh-yooon.

And then we got ready for the bunny.

Almond torte.

Super cute micah made cookies.

Matching morning PJs!! Jordan LOVES babies and dolls, so he got this doll that is actually named Jordan! Couldn’t pass it up once I saw the box.

Verrrrry excited.

And we had creme brulee french toast.

Barefoot Easter photo shoot before the morning started!

My dream girl.

The OG BFF’s.

Then we hung out the rest of the day and watched the Masters!

Ate chick cookies…

And built lots of legos. Now for a new week!

April we are here!

This week started off somber in our house as my grandpa passed away early Monday morning at almost 95 years old.

I got to see him Sunday evening when he was declining – and he knew we were there – then 12 hours later he was gone. It happened rather fast as he had just returned from Florida the week before, but like my dad said, you really can’t be sad with 95 great years. If we have to go… this is the way to go.

If you read these weekly posts, you may remember this photo we took just a few months ago with all of his great grandkids! I’m so glad we got it. Sorry Jordan, haha.

This happened so quickly that it’s still kind of hard to believe he’s gone when I look at these photos. He is the reason we go to my favorite place – he was born there! It’s surreal to think that this was my last living grandparent. Can’t believe I got to have my grandparents as long as I did.

We went about the rest of the week. It started out cold.

But it was nice enough to break out the sand!

Max is the cutest.

I love how adorable the once upon a farm print is for little sleepies! My life is made because they sent me these PJs. They are our favorite ones ever and I buy them constantly!

We had a little easter playdate with friends.

Max and Eddie went to the Pens game with our school. Why does Max look 18 here?!

When you win a free shirt!

And see your team jersey at the arena.

Then the last few days we had my grandpa’s viewing and funeral. We spent a lot of time with family and how cute are these cousins!

We didn’t dress them alike on purpose but they looked like twins! They are only two months apart. Also, Emilia in the background.

The kids were so great the last couple of days with everything going on. Only had a few moments of having to strip down and have snacks.

Our area had some of the high winds this weekend, so while we planned to do our easter egg hunt, it wasn’t possible outside. We ran around and found eggs inside instead!

Cutie cousins!!

We also made ice cream sundaes.

Baby Sebastian is the sweetest, smiliest boy!

The kids just love him. His cheeks are edible.

I mean I can’t even take him.

And we’re headed into Easter week. We’re excited to dye eggs and have fun family time.

First week of spring in the books!!

Look at these two little besties.

Jordan is not going to know what to do with himself next year when Emilia goes to kindergarten all day!

Learning about geography with his best big bro.

Emilia on a little trip to the library.

Her outfit choices are the best.

Don’t mind us just biking along!

I mean…

There’s my hockey boy!

Couch snuggles for everyone. Max is up top. We do this a few times a week and Jordan joins in.

He loves to cheeeeeese.

Emilia working very hard on a birthday card.

Going to see Max at school!

THIS CHILD.

My mom has started to give him vanilla ice cream which sounds just about right.

And he’s still really in to his sister’s dress up shoes.

Also, the curls!!

I spent this weekend celebrating a friend’s birthday. Hotel monaco halls never disappoint.

Neither does the floral chandelier. Can I put one of these in our new house?!

Max and I finished his first communion prep class.

How is he so big?! xo
