Tall, fluffy blueberry biscuits are topped with honey butter for a perfectly sweet start to the day. This easy recipe requires zero cutting or rolling!

It’s been a while since I was this excited about a recipe. And I get pretty excited about our recipes, so that should tell you how awesome this one is.

During the March Madness finals, Elle and Eric went to one of the games and I stayed home with the baby. While I was scrolling through Reddit, I found a post from someone saying their boyfriend had made the best biscuits they’d ever had.

Obviously I had to click through, and thankfully the poster shared the recipe in the comments, which they said they got from America’s Test Kitchen.

I had a bottle of buttermilk in my fridge that needed to be used, so I made these blueberry biscuits first thing the next morning. Then I immediately texted Stephie that she needed to try them, too.

She took one bite and texted me, “Can I just live inside of this blueberry biscuit?”

So yeah. These biscuits? You need to make them immediately. You can thank us later.

With the sweetness of bananas and the heartiness of oats, this oatmeal banana bread is delicious for breakfast or a mid-afternoon snack. Try it warm with a bit of butter or softened cream cheese!

Four slices of oatmeal banana bread stacked on a white plate. A pat of butter is on the top slice.

“Jamie, another banana bread recipe?”

Yep! If there’s one thing we almost always have at home, it’s bananas that need to be used. And banana bread makes a great afternoon snack for both of the girls, so it’s something I make all of the time.

But as much as I love Dominique Ansel’s banana bread, I do like to change it up occasionally.

Sometimes it’s chocolate chip banana bread, sometimes it’s brown butter banana bread. In the fall, it’s pumpkin banana bread

Right now, I’m really into this oatmeal banana bread. It’s a little bit heartier than some other versions thanks to the rolled oats, which also make it a bit nutty.

I’m a big fan of smearing a little softened cream cheese onto a slice while I sip my morning coffee.

Made with a simple oat-packed crust and a fresh strawberry filling, strawberry oatmeal bars are a delicious way to welcome berry season.

As you can probably guess, my team and I spend a lot of time at the grocery store. And we’ve all been noticing that fresh berries are starting to come back in stock.

In my mind, fresh berries are a sure sign that the seasons are changing, even if it’s still sweatshirt weather here in Ohio. And while peak strawberry season won’t hit my region for a little while yet, I love making recipes that allow even pre-season berries to sing.

From strawberry banana muffins to strawberry popsicles to these strawberry oatmeal bars, these recipes keep me going even when the weather isn’t so great.

sliced loaf of chocolate chip banana bread on a piece of parchment paper.

My family is banana bread obsessed. We almost always have a handful of overripe bananas on our counter waiting to be turned into some kind of baked good, so I wind up making some kind of banana bread on a regular basis.

Elle asks for it all the time, Eric gets super excited any time I add a crunchy cinnamon-sugar topping to it, and even the baby loves to snack on it.

You know what else my family loves? Chocolate chips. So it really only made sense to combine two of their favorite things to make this chocolate chip banana bread.

With a vanilla wafer crust and creamy banana filling, this banana pudding cheesecake brings together two of your favorite desserts into one decadent bite.

If you’ve been around MBA for a while, you know that I love banana pudding. Whether it’s homemade banana pudding or the easy Magnolia Bakery banana pudding (or even peanut butter and roasted banana pudding), I’m all in.

And you all know what else I adore: any and all cheesecake recipes.

So it only made sense to me to combine these two beloved desserts into one. And lemme tell ya, this banana pudding cheesecake did not disappoint.

From no bake cookies and Grand Floridian chocolate chip cookies to these banana oatmeal cookies, cookies have been a love affair that’s gone on here at MBA for…well, let’s just say it’s been a long time.

And I have no intention of stopping any time soon. After all, you can never have too many incredible cookie recipes up your sleeve!

This perfectly moist banana bundt cake is topped with a silky chocolate ganache for a dessert that you’ll want to make over and over again.

Sliced banana bundt cake topped with chocolate ganache on a white cake plate.

My dad is pretty much a chocolate fanatic – the darker and richer the better. He loves bananas, too. So it only seemed natural that the first time I made this banana bundt cake finished with satiny chocolate ganache was for his birthday.

I’ve never been one to try my hand at elaborately decorated cakes. Don’t get me wrong, I think they’re pretty darn stunning. It’s just that I have an attention span that rivals a cupcake-eating, Mountain-Dew-chugging 4-year-old. Seriously.

Instead of towering cakes with beautiful piping details, I like to keep things a little more simple – okay, more like easy – and it doesn’t get much easier than bundt cakes

And this banana cake is not just any bundt cake.

I love cherries and I love chocolate, but I don’t often combine the two together.

This black forest cheesecake reminded me that I should combine the two more often.

I mean, the people who love chocolate-covered cherries are really onto something. Rich chocolate paired with sweet cherries…that’s a winning combination.

If you or a loved one agree, I’ve got just the dessert for you to make for Valentine’s Day this year.

Luckily, that almost always gives me an excuse to bake up something delicious with them!

From strawberry banana muffins to banana cupcakes to banana coffee cake, I’ve got you covered if you also always struggle with a never-ending supply of overly ripe bananas.

And today we’re adding these banana bars with cream cheese frosting to that list!

Richly flavored with warm spices, vanilla, and a bit of orange, this apple compote is absolutely dreamy on top of everything from pancakes and french toast to ice cream.

Fancy-sounding dishes that are secretly super easy to make are totally my jam.

Whipped cherry butter looks so beautiful on your table but comes together in just minutes. Cranberry brie bites always impress guests but are made with just 3 ingredients. And this apple compote sounds fancy but takes almost no effort to make.
